Urgent: Which Amplifier To Buy?

I think the DB 6501 comps come with rings for the mid range driver as well which cost about 500 Rs a pair if you buy externally. But if I am to get the morels at anywhere under 6.5k - then I wouldnt think twice - you dont think I should be considering any other component systems in this price bracket right ?

Selecting a speaker depends a lot on what your ears like. If you like brighter speakers then get hertz or polks, if you like laid back then get rainbows or focals. I liked morels a lot whe auditioned them so went for them. So try auditioning a few befor finalizing.

Hi All,

Planning to buy JBL - GT X646 or JBL - GTO 804EZ from Snapdeal, wanted to know if this will work fine with existing setup. I have

1. Head unit - Sony Xplod - CDX-GT505U - 54x4 with 2 Pre-outs
2. Front Components - Sony Xplod - XS-GTR1720S - 350W Peak Power and 75W Rated Power
3. Rear on plank Inifinity Primus 9603is - 3-ohm impedance RMS 90 watts RMS (360 watts peak power)

I may plan to add a subwoofer later.

Need your help guys. Planning to buy 4 channel Amp, my shortlisted are some of these
1. Sony XM-GS400
2. JBL - GX-A644SI
3. Sony - Xplod - XM-N1004
4. Rockford Fosgate - Prime Series - R250-4
My budget is up to 8k.
Which of these Amp would be best, any suggestion from your side are welcome.

if you are planning to put subwoofer in future , i would suggest to go for rockford or any other 5 channel amplifier as it may cost you less then buying two separate amplifiers.

polk speakers are great choice.
as freakdude suggested JBL GTO 1004 amp. I have been using it since 2 years. its currently running 6 speakers. no problem , never heats. but bought it for 13k back then.

dont buy sony amp. Rockford is a good go.

No sony again. buy pioneer HU and all infinity or polk/hertz/rockford/helix speakers

I want my speakers to perform at its maximum, I am having pioneer TS A1605C (front) & Rockford Fosgate Prime R1675 (rear), 60w RMS & 45w RMS respectively. So i want at least [RMS Power @ 4 ohms] (60w x 4 channel)
Rockford Fosgate - Prime Series - R250-4 is a bit low at @ 4 ohms 40w Rms x 4 channels, another Rockford Fosgate R300 which i am considering which is 50w Rms x 4 channels @ 4 ohms. One more amp which i wish is Focal 4 its a 75w Rms x 4 channels @ 4ohms, i'll consider this only this amp performs outstanding from the rest.

R300 is good enough. It will be 100 rms per channel @ 2 ohm which is good enough to run most speakers

Try Xenos Alligator 4 channel
4x50 W RMS (@ 4 Ohms), 4x70w RMS (@ 2 Ohms), 2 X 100 W RMS (@ Bridge 4 Ohms)
