Spotted the new Verna two-weeks back in Chennai-Bangalore highway . I see it more often now a days and I would say the facelift is close .kenkits I understand your feelings , modify you're ride and make it stand out fomenting others .

Yesterday while going to inOrbit Mall, Whitefield, A biker bashed my car from behind. My car's right tail lamp and bumper took the hit. Tail lamp is broken and bumper got some serious scratches. I just crossed a traffic signal and suddenly an Innova, tried to push into my lane. I slowed down and then BANG! . My car took the hit and both Innova and the biker fled from the scene.

Need to go to service center to repair. I will surely claim the insurance, as the damage seems to be more than 15K. Will post some pics soon. Don't feel like going near the car. That makes me real sad.

Thanks Myth. Few pics of the damage below. I gave my car for repair to Trident Hyundai workshop two weeks back and got my car lasy week (9 Aug 2014). New rear bumper and tail lamp RH was replaced. Total expense was around 13K inr. Claimed insurance and paid around 5K.

Also attached pics of the key cover I got from ebay.in today. Great quality though bit expensive. It costs 400 INR.

Hopefully the facelift verna has the cruise control feature. Under c2 sedan segment only Honda City and fiat linea I believe offers cruise control.

Facelift version of Verna already released in china and russia. Not sure if it has cruise control. But yes, it's a good to have feature but not a necessary one for indian roads.

thanks man, after I post last day, I search through ebay and saw few. I will get it soon.

2nd Service completed on 1st Sep 2014. Total expense came to INR 4477. This includes AC vent cleaning and wheel alignment (Around INR 2K. Complete robbing of innocent customers in name of AC vent cleaning and wheel alignment).
Also the "Coil Spring" was replaced under warranty. Due to Coil Spring, the airbag malfunction light was always glowing.

My car has run 6001 KMs as of today.

Your running is terribly low for a diesel engine. :P
I'am almost at 5900kms now.

You could have done the ac vent cleaning and the wheel alignment outside if the service center is over charging.

Is your headlights still fogging after the rains ?
