Hi Duttan,
How much it costed OE Radiator.

The orginal Toyota Radiator is 20k plus tax and the final amount including the replacement of the coolant and the radiator goes to 30 k , including GST

Radiator 20 + GST = 24 K
Coolant 9 litre 320 *9 = 3 k
Radiator Hose 2 = 2k
Labour charge = 1 K

Total = 30K
There are radiator avilable of TVS product of amount 4050

Hi,
Its been a long time i drove qualis long distance and update of this thread.
Sold my Innova last 10 days before. Now started using qualis regularly.

Steering box leak was there for some time and planned to overhaul the steering box. In Coimbatore its around 4500 to 6000 based on the conditions with one year warranty.
AC is good even i havent taken the car for long time. Throughout this year, its done 500 to 600 kms only. New battery replaced and tyres replaced with Bridgestone last year.

Hi all,
My Qualis Gearbox is having an issue in 5th gear.Humming sound creeping up and i replaced with another one from market.
Thats also having the same issue.

New Gear box or gear wheels are way too costly.
If anyone have any reference for used good gearbox, kindly share with me.. It would be a great help.

Hi,
Finally opened the gearbox and replaced 5th gear and shaft related bearings. The one asoociated with the fifth gear is the needle one which is not available in the Spares store in coimbatore.
Some bearings were worn and today it will be planned to fit in the car.

Let me try whether the sound is completely gone or partially still available.

Hi Guys,
Is there any one aware of the Qualis BS1 and BS2 difference.
I have both models now and engines are good, But always see some difference in the engine sound while driving.

BS2 model sounds different in 2000 RPM. Is it due to the cataylic converter?

Yes, its a 2000 model same as yours. 1,68,000 kms ODO. FC has been done last year. Will post ownership thread soon.

Hi,
Spares are really not easily gettable. Last time I got Air Filter after 5 to 8 days which is ok, but still you need to prebook and pay advance to Toyota dealership for any products. (Very costlier).
Sold my Green RS Qualis 2005 and retained the 2000 model FS.

Got an Innova 16 months back and its doing the daily running now.
