almost after 8 years , I have landed in your thread!

Congrats for your sunny purchase and a big thanks for guiding in my used sunny purchase
Have completed around 1200kms in sunny after a general service and recent highway ride gave 22.5kmpl including a 40 min idling with AC - tank full method.

A quick update to feature enabling in Nissan Sunny.
Before purchase of the sunny I test drove a XE model and it had auto lock features and auto unlock on removing the key.
But was missed in the XL variant that I purchased. Had I not seen the XE with the feature I might not have bothered . Previous 2 cars of mine has those features.


To enable auto lock after 15 ~20 kmph
1. close doors
2.Ignition ON. ( Do not start)
3.Hold lock button for 5 to 7 seconds until hazard blinks twice.
Your auto lock feature after 15 ~20 Kmph is activated. To deactivate follow the same procedure. The hazard will blink once as acknowledgement.

To enable auto unlock after key removal from ignition.
1. close doors
2.Ignition ON. ( Do not start)
3.Hold Unlock lock button for 5 to 7 seconds until hazard blinks twice.
To deactivate follow the same procedure. The hazard will blink once as acknowledgement.


Exited and updated to Mr. Boss ( Satish) , he checked and guided for auto up driver side window procedure.
1. Close doors and ignition ON.
2. Roll down windows.
3.Roll up and hold for 5 seconds after window roll up action is over.
No indication for feature activated. But it gets activated !

Changed my tyres for Yoko earth 1.
