with the weather like that... I suppose it is justified in looking angry....

@highwayranger
Awesome shot
Can you add shurrer speed n aperture value for this capture?
Thank you. [:)]

f/5.6, 1/100, ISO200, @300mm. The sky was overcast and due to the low light I had to crank up the ISO to 200 to get a decent ss. I usually shoot at ISO100. The image is cropped.

Hi HR,

May be I'm joining this Wildlife care with lots of delay. I liked this thread and given 5 Star rating.

Sorry for the poor quality. Taken thru my mobile. Cameras were not allowed inside the Zoo by Zoo Management near Shimoga.

Saw peacock for lot of time in temples, hills, and in my earlier plant too ( Set of 4 to 5 Peacock comes every evening, have a peacock walk and go back in the evening time. The beauty is they fear about man moment in our plant.). For the first time in my life, I had seen a Peacock with his feather ( Mayil Thogai in tamil. Don't know exact english for Thogai) open condition to dance.

When I see a peacok in this position, I remember famous Tamil song " Mayil pona ponnu onnu....." by the Music Director Ilayaraja.[clap]
