Yes, I've connected that, though as Anshuman said, google maps are more convenient. Even I don't use navi maps much.

To use navi maps-

1. connect your phone via Bluetooth to the harman system
2. From navi maps app on the phone, choose your destination.
3. The route will appear in the app.
4. From the Harman system menu, select navigation option.
5. You'll see the navigation in the form of arrows for turns and distance to that.
It appears like this in the Harman system -

Thanks dear. Yes, I have already managed to connect Navigation, but my doubt/ concern is when the navigation is on whether we can enjoy music or only turn by turn navigation instruction will come from the system?

Let me try with that tomorrow in actual traffic. I just checked this with my car parked inside. Will update you on this. [:)]

I checked this today morning. While navigation is on with navi maps, the music gets paused in-between for the turning instructions. I checked with Radio. So yes, as discussed earlier, google maps is the better option. [:)]

Thanks.

you mean the music will be interrupted only when the turn instructions comes or no music at all the moment we turn on the navigation?

Another doubt - we can connect Navi map through Bluetooth. Can we also connect this via USB cable (direct cable for mobile phone to our car USB port)?

Yep, music is interrupted only when the turn instruction comes.

Will check it today. [:)]

I just checked, its not working.

When selected the 'Navigation' in the connectNext home menu, it says '' please connect your Smartphone via BT with navigation app installed''

So, it seems this feature will work only when connectNext is connected via Bluetooth[roll]

Today, I have taken my Tigor for a little longer ride (95 Kms) and out of this about 60/65 percent roads are with heavy curves/sharp turning and I faced a terrible time whenever turning right because of the door visor blocking my clear view towards right side. I had to either bent down or lean towards windshield to see the approaching vehicle..

I definitely need either to remove the door visors or lift up the position as I can feel that the showroom guys fixed the door visors bit low which is the cause for blocking the view.

By doing this (removing or lifting up the door visors), will there be any markings/ scratches visible on the doors?

Sir, the visors are stuck with 3M genuine double tape so while removing them it can be tricky situation because small scratches can't be avoided. Get the same done with help of a professional or visit a 3M outlet in your city. Avoid doing it as a DIY.

Bit late to this thread.Congrats sir for buying Tigor.Tigor is best when it comes to build quality and sound system. My mom's cousin owns one in Bangalore since Dec 2017 though his is XT variant with Harmon Kardon music system and it costed him Rs.6.5L while his parents own new 2018 Dzire VDI and his elder brother owns 2014-end Dzire VXI.He bought his Tigor to Hyderabad from Bangalore when the car was new and he got roof wrapped in matte black though his car colour is red.Regarding maintenance,he said that service cost is lesser than Maruti. My mom drove his Tigor when it was new and was impressed with the car.She drove a Petrol car after a long time though she drives Diesel car regularly to her workplace.

Well, considering this as my brother's next car,who has Swift VDI since 2011 and ran nearly 1.2L Kms in 7 years.Told him to look at this as the top end XZ(O) costs under Rs.8L Hyd along with Swift,Baleno,Dzire,Aspire,i20 and Figo.

No DIY. 1st service is due end of this month. I am going to ask the service guys if they can do it without getting scratches.

Guys - I am taking my car tomorrow for the 1st service.

Do I have to specify any particular thing to be done in 1st service?

No complaints so far, though I am going to ask them to do:

-Reposition the Door visor, if possible and no damage when removing the visor from its present position (which is very low as I am finding difficult to get clear visibility when taking on right turn especially on sharp curves)

-Boot lid (inside) insulation - I have seen many Tigor's comes with insulation at inside bonnet as well as boot cover (mine has got insulation under the bonnet cover but not in boot lid)

-Jerking of gear from 2nd to 3rd position (Of course heard that all AMT cars have this problem, but still I want to report it.

Anything else?
