I do use paint , photoshop , but being a regular spreadsheet user , i use excel in a series of cut , paste and then save it at last once the desired object is ready. Just for a quick job.

Looks are always subjective dear.
IMO stock pulsar looks like 'rear weighted'. i.e., every muscle is concentrated on the rear (please note, this is the judgement from the looks and not may not be in actuals) and which is not a good design. For better stability CG should be either at the centre or little forward.
