Whether this was the problem of losing the Turbo ? You dont have the extended warranty to claim this matter under the warranty ?
Even now, it is not that great, but only because of this particular SA, who is a friend of a friend, got through without getting billed even more. Even the time, I was paying delivery, there was a customer yelling at the SA for a whopping 28k for routine service, with parts being changed without his consent.
The reason I stopped giving there was my cousin's car got similar issue just after a service and ended up paying from pocket some 30+k, for an under warranty car, ended up in fight, dragging them to court and car remained with them rotting in their yard. Got back the car after a year in terrible condition. Case is still going on.
This is fourth Beat I am coming across with the same engine/turbo failure.
My SA tried claiming warranty, but Chevy never responded as the car had a broken service history. He asked to wait some more for response, but instead chose to get it repaired as I didn't want the car to sit and rot for long. It sat idle for over a month, before being towed to ASC.
