The “Suggest Me New Mobile Phone” Thread

Quite recently, my year old Moto G2 screen is showing a crack. Don't know how though... The screen replacement costs about 6K, which doesn't worth as the resale value is just 4K or so.

So, looking for a new phone... These are under consideration.

1. iPhone 5S 32 GB - 34K on Amazon
2. Lenovo Vibe P1 - 17K on Flipkart
3. Oneplus X - 16K or so
4. Oneplus 2 - 20K I guess
5. Nexus 5X - If 32 GB is available, which is not the case yet.

As this is one in my list, a honest feedback will help. Thanks.

I bought this for INR 14,400 by availing 10% stanchart card. Earlier i had Lenovo A7000 which was sold for 4500 on OLX (8 months old)

Now lets come to the point and here is a feedback after 3 days

a) Incredible battery charging - in 1 .15 hr (100% charge)
b) The battery lasts for 1.5 days with continuous 3G (USP of this smartphone)
c) Fingerprint sensor is unheard of in this price range
d) Good looks with 5.5 inch display (aluminium backside)
e) Call quality and WIFI are working well
f) 32 gb internal storage to have many apps

Issues
a) Bit heavy
b) No earplug
In my opinion there is no phone even close to this one below 20,000

Buy, with your eyes closed

also i have noticed in other Lenovo's models, camera offering has been below par to say the least

My Dad's Lenovo K3 Note's Omnivision OV13850 camera shoots like a pro if you capture correctly (i.e. focus).
My aunt's Lenovo A6000 Plus has one awesome camera, very clear pics.

I will try to upload the pics taken with those phones.

it supposedly retails for 5k & has Andriod Lollipop 5.1
2000mah battery & 1 gb ram , after watching the reviews on youtube i hear the display is just average.

This will be my first Andriod,my other smartphone is a Lumia

Anybody has anything to say about this phone?

i have to buy a phone for my dad. budget is 25k. and i am confused between iphone 5s and the one plus x.

he's using a nexus 5 right now and iphone 5s screen is small compared to both the nexus and the one plus x. any suggestions ?
usage is normal whatsapp , calling and youtube videos ( mostly old songs )

I finally bought iPhone 5S 32 GB at Amazon for 33.5 K . It's been a couple of weeks and the initial experience is good. But still, miss many of the user friendly features of Android! Will post a detailed review soon.
