any specific model you want me to check?

IMHO, service wise, they are a big NO go :frown:

vivo Service Centers in India | vivo Smartphones

they have not covered every state. leaving out populous states like UP, Punjab etc shows they are not serious about india.
No specific model Nitin but off late I have seen them becoming popular here in Hyderabad with exclusive outlets and phones look good and sleek to me[:)]

RK, there is no dearth of mobile manufacturers. The ones which advertise more become more famous and reap the benefits, HTC lagged on this part but now their advertising budget has increased tremendously.

One Plus started as a flagship killer but OPO, but with OP2 which is supposedly a 2016 flagship killer, its not even competing with flagships of 2015 specs wise. Moto x style gives it a run for its money.

Along with specs and configuration, we tend to forget the update part which now gains more importance since people want the latest software.

By buying a 2gb or 3gb RAM phone, we make ourself future ready but then how well are the cores managed is what matters. With this more RAM buzz, android users forget, Free RAM = Wasted RAM. Android OS caches all the important processes and stores it in the RAM for a responsive response when one performs any action, 4GB RAM is not at all required for the time being, because while using the phone, studies have indicated that 3GB of RAM is more than enough for the Phones to work buttery smooth. In many cases 2GB ram is also enough.

battery is again something where there is a lot of scope for innovation.

huh?

i did not want to talk about lumia, but since you brought it up, i rate your lumia third class to any mmx's and lava/xolos and vivos.

hope that helps.

you have not seen the power and ease of android. else you would have thrown your lumia in the dustbin by now. [:)]

Hahahaha..yes Nitin I will be going for a flagship soon[:)] Something Like A8,S6,6S
A8= flagship killer? Since when? Are we talking about AUDI A8?

if you are serious about getting a flagship device I would suggest you to get an LG G4. It is available for around 33k on eBay last I checked.

I was surprised to see a8 being classified as a flagship device.

Hence thought you might be talking of an audi A8.

3G not working on my Lenova A7000 [anger]
Are you trying this for the first time?
Settings > mobile networks > network mode > select Wcdma only (3g only)

If you don't get good 3g connectivity then select wcdma preferred/gsm. It will select 2g and then select 3g when signals are good.

If it was working before and not now then ask your service provider to send you the internet settings again.

Ps : Don't post one liner , include all the necessary details.

Please, suggest a smartphone under 8000Rs for my relative.
Atleast, 2gb Ram and 16gb internal Storage, Gorilla Glass.
Try considering Redmi 2 Prime, Lenovo A6000
Redmi 2 Prime Price in India - Buy Redmi 2 Prime Grey 16 Online - Mi : Flipkart.com
Lenovo A6000 Plus Price in India - Buy Lenovo A6000 Plus Red 16 Online - Lenovo : Flipkart.com

The down side is, both of them don't come with Gorilla Glass or equivalent 'Dragontail'
But other requirements are met i.e. 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage + expandable storage
