Just found my old Action Camera lying around in my accessories rack. This camera has a Dash Cam function. Planning to use it in my Tiago. Need suggestions to mount it.

You get generic suction mounts for action cameras. I simply stuck a regular GoPro mount on windshield near RWM. I used to use a GoPro Hero+ as dashcam.

What about the wiring? Is a clean installation easy? I would prefer no wires hanging from IRVM.

You could route it through headliner and A-pillar, but will need an extra-long cable. I had the cable that came with Amazon Firestick, which was 2 m long I think.

Did a small family trip to my native for some personal works on 21st and returned today. The car performed as expected without any trouble.

Mandatory trip reset.

For the gram(IG)

Resting after the first leg of the journey.

Meanwhile, ERZA completes 4000 kms after 9 Months.

Trip done and dusted. MID indicated mileage 17.2 kmpl with 100% AC, 300 kms of 2 Lane highways and rest 4-6 lane highways, 4 passengers with boot full luggage. Based on my previous observations, Tankful method will be around 16.

I was wondering if a suspension swap from Tiago JTP is possible? I feel the ride is little bouncy on highways at anything over 90 KMPH. Even an aftermarket suspension or stiffer springs is fine. Any suggestions?

Since the car is nearing 5000 kms(4940 odd kms) and I will be going to Bangalore next week for my brother's marriage, got the Wheel Rotation, front 2 wheel balancing and alignment done at a friend's place.

Why only front wheels were balanced?

We checked all the 4 tyres and only the front(which was previously at the rear) were slightly out of balance. I don't know if its the right thing to do, but the alignment guy(he is my college friend) said it is not necessary to do fresh balancing on the other tyres because they are ok.

As it is alloy wheels, assuming that sticker weights were used, I think your friend is right, else he is wrong if the metal weights were clipped or stamped on.

Cleaned the AC Filter today.

5000 kms and not too much dirt I guess.

Cleaned and refitted. TASS have missed a screw for the filter cover during the last service. Need to get it fixed in the next service.

5000 Km Update
October was a fruitful month for Erza. She completed 5000 kms on her trip to Bengaluru for my brother's marriage. Bengaluru traffic is on an another level.
