Tata has commenced the development and testing of all-new versions of the Harrier and Safari, slated to hit the market before the festive season. A recent sighting of the test mules for the upcoming all-new Tata Safari has revealed several new details, confirming the inclusion of cool new features and design highlights in the SUV’s new version.

Regarding the possible exterior changes, the new Tata Safari will feature design updates similar to the Harrier EV concept displayed at the Auto Expo 2023. The test mule spotted by Carversal indicates the addition of a revised split headlamp assembly and a connected LED daytime running light bar running across the front profile’s width. The mules were also equipped with vertical housings to accommodate LED projectors for the revised projector headlamp assembly.

Notable revisions were also spotted in the interior of the upcoming Tata Safari’s new version, suggesting an entirely new cabin layout with some fresh features. The SUV will now have a new two-spoke multi-functional steering wheel with a digital display, similar to what was seen in the test mules of the all-new Tata Nexon. The instrument console will also feature new graphics on the full-TFT screen.

The centre console of the new Tata Safari showcases significant changes, with the SUV now sporting a driver-focused touchscreen infotainment system and new AC vents below the screen. The lower centre console also incorporates a touch-sensitive control screen for automatic climate control. Furthermore, the centre tunnel between the front seats boasts a gloss black finish, along with a stubby gear lever and a new drive mode control knob with a knurled finish, akin to more expensive SUVs from Land Rover.

A radical change was imminent with Safari facelift. And a radical change we are getting. Tata Safari facelift and Harrier facelift are getting major facelift and production is expected to start in the coming weeks.

In these images, we can see Tata Safari’s interiors in full glory. There is no camouflage and we can easily pinpoint all the differences as opposed to the current model. First impressions are that we like what we see. For starters, Tata has made a giant leap in an attempt to offer a much richer and premium interior.

Here are the features of the all new Tata Safari for their website. They have revealed the new features before the launch. Maybe this was a trial website but accidentally revealed it.
Dual zone climate control, 45w Type C charger, 2nd window curtain, sensor based rear door opening, 19 inch wheels and the new 12.3 inch infotainment system are the new highlights along with the old features like second row ventilated seats remain the highlights of the facelift car. There is no information on Electric power steering (EPS).

They have surely upped the game!!
Worthy alternative to the XUV700.

I have test driven harrier before finalising slavia. No doubt tata is making good cars. But their products always have quality issues making the customer to think twice before putting more than 2 million on their product.
