ya this time LEDs only. new arival in market. multi color LEDs with control unit. costs like bomb in my place. 1 meter 600rs and control 500rs.

Go for full roll 5 mts.
you may need some 3 to 4 mts for whole underbody on 4 sides. rest one you can utilize somewhere.

whole of 5 mts roll cost some where 850 in riche st chennai. apart from that people sell at 1500 to 1900 kind of. Even my electrician said same 1500 for me , used in my friend's car.
colours that available
white /red/green/orange/warm white.

warm white was good for interior.

no idea of multicolour. imo multicolour may be weird.

multicolour means not all glowing together. you can choose the colors that you need.

underbody lightings updated. total costs 1250. totally got 5meters of white strips. both the sides under the fenders and underdash. now its like driving a space shuttle!!

and also updated the horn to minda trumpet.(590rs)

The strip as a positive and negative.

connect to battery via a switch else connect to the parking lamp. your wish.

i did it in the nearby electrician. connection from parklight and i have put a switch in it.

@ilango. ya the lights are little bright :P. the strips used in the running board costs 300 per meter ( they said its imported and with white back) and in fenders and inside cabin its 200 per meter (copper back). got totally 5 meters and 1/2 meter left. that i will put in the top cabin light

Looking good.. but does the mud / water splash on the led strips inside the wheel arches ?

Put the left out strip in the middle of the roof it would be good..
You could have installed the strips near the lower part of the wheel arches behind the wheel it would look more flashy, cool !!!

like the one in your 800 right. but that day we were running in shortage of white strips. so didn install in the drum. but now the city polices are looking suspicious on my nano :)

You are right. It indeed looks like a space shuttle !
Can you post a pic from some distance? I'm eager to see it.

No I guess. But its India, the cops might make silly reasons or they might even say that Xenon's are not allowed on the car!

yeah, thats rite, xenons are not street legal so they may cought you for that but i dont think LEDs will couse any problem. it can only highlight your car to the MAMUs :)

pics i will post next week. right now little busy out of town. once my dad was pulled for having blue LEDs on the wiper washer in kerala fined 100rs too. xenons you will not be caught if you have 4300K or lesser.
