I do have Minda security system installed in my Nano LX and I am happy with it.
It has the features like anti-theft alarm, auto door lock and reverse horn.

What is the cost and warranty, anti theft work on door latches only or have more points, does it comes with door lock gun or existing door lock guns do the job. Can you post some pictures where it was installed.

Hi Mrigank, just got a call from my friend. He has advised to get alignment checked along with air pressure. Also he said that 2012 nano comes with 4 year warranty so if by alignment too the issue of steering is not corrected then we can go for next step.

Hi Akash,
Yes I am aware of 4 years warranty. As far as alignment is concerned car 1 with hard steering is pulling to left and car 2 with smooth steering also pulling to left. I do not think hard steering is because of alignment. If it is why after going through deep water steering becomes smooth just like car 2, and car 2 steering is always smooth even with wrong alignment. What will be the next step if you know ? Any ways visit to TASS is pending from long time as I have very less time on weekends.
I also found yesterday that break pedal is not working properly or may be break pads or some part goes bad because when I applied breaks through right leg, break pedal show no good grip for half distance but with left leg it stops the car on place with good bite on less pedal travel.

Can you do one thing, I would like to physically examine the drive of your car on this Sunday if it is OK with you. Please PM me your contact number. Would make my friend also drive your car then once we are aware of the actual issue then we can guide you appropriately. Secondly, is it possible for you to come to a Noida ASC of TATA with your car?

Cost : 4K including installation.(Date : 12-Oct'2013)
Warranty : 1 year.
Anti theft : Works on door latches only.
Door lock gun : Existing door lock guns only.
Place of installation : Below driver side dash board with a separate fuse.
Pictures : Will post by this evening.

I daily come noida as I am working here. I don't think I will be able to do this on this Sunday or weekend. No problem if you want to drive the car but it will be beneficial only after the steering goes hard again. In which sector of Noida TATA ASC is? Check PM

Steering start getting hard in this morning was smooth but in the afternoon it become slightly hard, might be the water lubrication is evaporated by sun heat. Might be psychological but gear and clutch becomes smooth too. Slotting in first gear is smooth now. Lets see when the steering become hard again.

I want to know that why it cant be able to use in nano. all the points are same.

One more thing Can anyone tell me which 3 wires comes to the alarm connector pin located at front bonnet above stepney.

Off late ive been looking to replace the engine oil.
Has anyone used synthetic oil of grade 15W40, if yes then is there any improvements in mileage or reduction in engine vibrations.
Also does anyone know DIY for replacing oil filter. Now please dont refer me to manual as it doesnt have instructions to replace the oil filter.
