Not very impressed with the idea of a CS. When Manza itself is doing good (almost) what the heck of making a CS version of it and flooding it in Taxi market and then devalueing it. Strange move by TATA.

Not exactly ,
sub 4 mts have lower tax
so lower car price.

a vista CS was already talk of auto freaks when vista was launched with better engine of multijet with better interiors and plactics.But vista already was pretty big enough that no way a boot was possible to fit within 4 meter excise benifit, so no way you can expect to do that on manza.

The auto show on NDTV(I forgot its name) clearly said that a
"Manza CS will be coming pretty soon. Tata would modify the front(read bonnet) and rear of the car and leave the interior space untouched."

Its a good move by Tata to compete with the sub 4 meter dzire right away. Also the price would be very competitive due to the excise duty benefit. The car though not a proper sedan, will sell in good numbers as the typical Indian mentality is that a sedan is better than a hatch and if given a choice more people will prefer a small sedan with no features rather than a fully loaded high end hatch if priced equal.

Cannot exactly judge whether it is CS version. The lip spoiler is definitely a new addition.

Nice comparison, Knightrider. This indeed looks like a compact version of existing Manza. Though, I am only wondering how Tata can manage to place such models so closely with space of not even a molecule. Guess, this is going to be the first time when variants of old generation cars will sell along the variants of new generation ones, but seriously, this is simply off the limits.
