I test drove the new indica today at concorde in chennai. The car has ample amount of torque in it and the engine feels very peppy and another disappointment is that TATAS has reduced a hell lot of weight in the car and it feels so light. I dont think it will withstand in case of an accident.

Weight of car is not a safety issue.

may be a stabilising point in running , but safety has lot of factor and weight is not a main account. weight may be due to different engine tech and spares. Hope indica cant get lower quality body steels than present one
