Tata Harrier Facelift: New render shows what it could look like

The video of the Tata Harrier facelift rendering has been uploaded on YouTube by Bagrawala Designs on their channel. It starts with a look at the front fascia of the SUV in the dark where only the long-connected LED DRL of the SUV is visible. The most unique thing about this LED DRL is that it symbolizes the Tata moniker, and because of it, there is no traditional Tata badge on the front. Most likely, this is something that would not be incorporated into Harrier’s facelift, but it’s surely something unique.

This rendering somewhat looks unreal. Don't think they will make the facelift this way. Though it is expected to carry the new LED logo, but it will not look so soft. It will have a macho look.

Finally a relief after seeing these images. [Source :drivespark). Was worried after seeing Harrier EV with triangle shaped headlight pods and triangles in grill and cuts in the rear taillights making it look busy.
The ice version gets more box shaped pods and a clean rear taillights, should turn out looky macho and understated at the same time. Nice alloys too.
Mr. Martin, please don't look at an IPhone for inspiration, look at the prancing horses, raging bulls, the romeos and of course your very own defenders and velars.

Press Note Excerpt:
Dynamic Design

The new Harrier is a very sporty and a kinetic vehicle and hence needed to be represented with dynamism. Starting with the front grille which is the face of the car to the rear, all elements have been carefully curated to form a design that communicates high tech and high quality. All forms of light accents like the DRLs, main driving light or the fog lamps have been designed like a piece of jewellery which further enhances the design cues. Furthermore, inspired by the athletic design in fashion, the new signature colour which is a Fearless yellow emphasizes the character of its buyer.

The interior is dominated by one thing which are the two screens – the 31.24 cm High Definition touchscreen Infotainment System and the 26.03 cm High Definition Configurable Digital Instrument Cluster. The gloss black finisher which is an extension of the HVAC switches are now capacitive, so all the climate control switches are in a very elegant touch screen module underneath the vents. The attention to detail on the vents, the tactility, perceived quality amongst others are important design elevations made on this product. The genuine leather four-spoke illuminated steering wheel on the Harrier is a premium extension to the steering wheel underlining the fact that this is a high-tech vehicle. Coupled with the multi-mood lighting, persona-themed IMDs (In mould decoration) and leatherette mid-pad accents, door accents add to the luxury and premium feel.

The winged comfort head restraints in the second row and the rear sunshades uplift the feel of the passengers sitting at the back. Adding to the comfort, stay connected with voice assistants like Alexa and breathe easy with an integrated air purifier featuring an AQI display.

Cocooned Safety

Built upon the robust OMEGARC architecture, derived from Land Rover's renowned D8 Platform, the new Harrier is equipped with a comprehensive range of safety enhancements. These encompass 7 airbags, of which 6 come standard across all variants (including Driver, Co-Driver, Side Airbags, Curtain Airbags, and Driver Knee Airbag). FireShot Capture 350 - 2023 Tata Harrier Launched In India Priced At Rs 15.49 Lakh_ Check Mi_ ...png

Tata Harrier has been launched in India with a starting price of Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 24.49 lakh for the most expensive variant. Tata Motors has launched the new generation of the SUV alongside Tata Safari. Tata Motors is on a spree of updating its vehicles. Before this, the brand launched facelift versions of Tata Nexon and Tata Nexon EV. Before we get into the details of the 2023 Tata Harrier, it is worth mentioning that the SUV has received updates in terms of design, features, and interiors as well.

Following the family look of the brand's cars, Tata Harrier gets an LED DRL strip running across the bonnet of the car. Other changes include a new grille, an updated design for headlamps and taillights, new bumpers, and newly designed alloy wheels. Adding to it, the new generation has multiple apparent elements that differentiate it from Tata Safari like a grille, design of alloy wheels, and headlamp housing.

Tata Harrier's interiors receive a newly designed dashboard with a larger infotainment system and a new digital instrument cluster with navigation. The car now features a 4-spoke wheel with a backlit emblem, and the steering wheel's appearance has also changed.

Regarding the feature list, Tata Motors has compiled a longer list, enhancing the SUV with a variety of features. Dual-zone climate control, a sound system with 10 JBL speakers, ventilated front seats, paddle shifters, ambient lighting, a gesture-controlled motor-powered tailgate, and more are just a few of the features the SUV receives. The car now comes standard with 6 airbags for the protection of the occupants.

Like Safari, Tata Harrier continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The engine manages to kick out 170 hp with 350 Nm of peak torque. Tata Harrier has a claimed fuel efficiency of 16.80 kpl for the manual and 14.60kpl for the automatic.

The updated Harrier is offered in six colors - Seaweed Green, Ash Gray, Lunar White, Pebble Gray, Sunlit Yellow, and Coral Red. The Oberon Black color option is exclusive to the Dark edition variants. The car now falls in the Rs. 15.49-24.49 lakh price bracket (ex-showroom).
