A night to be remembered! [clap] It was indeed a great midnight meet!
And Rohit da, thanks for posting the pics and also thanks for bringing the DSLR too. Food was very good and tasty.
It's always feels nice to meet like minded people. Had a great adda with the TAI-ger's of Bengol!
Looking forward to more meets! [evil]

IMPRESSED & ENJOYED ! And missed badly. Since I couldn't manage to open the TAI link recently. Also little sigh of being 44+. Please keep it happening.

Why don't you guys take little more time out & plan a single DAYOUT & make a little procession on highway.

Thanks. Did not get the concept of 44+. Are you referring to age? I am your age and Rahul is elder to me. Subrata da joined us for the first time and he claims to be 60+ though he looked much younger.

We are planning day out. In fact in one of our earlier meet we already had a highway procession. You can check in this forum only in a separate thread.

Expecting you to join next time..

That is what usually happens. Only this time the plan was little different, as some members were busy during daytime.

Hey Guys.. it was fun to read your thread and know about your meet. It would be fun if we all can meet again and Ill be participating along with the left out members this time. Though I have a DL(Delhi) registered car so it will be great if we can meet somewhere out of the main Kolkata city to avoid the traffic and the cops. Places like rajarhat, dum dum area will be gud wherein we can go on drives on expressway upto dakshineshwar and have some awesome clicks. I can bring my DSLR camera ( and I can click some awesome pics as well). Lets plan an outing and have fun... :)

Belgharia Expressway is not safe anymore from Trafic Cops at least Weekdays / Daytime. There are sufficient amount of Young Green Police (Blue Dress) deployed who are excellent at their job to catch vehicles - Their primary target is to catch trucks and commercial cars... I'm not sure your DL number plate may catch their attention.

Anyhow I don't know if those cops are active in Sunday or any holiday though...but every other day they are present there and hassle motorist.

I am staying in Dum dum area and have been driving my car from Dakshineshwar to Baguihati every other day and have not faced any trouble till now from the cops. Although I have heard that cops in Kolkata are more troublesome than the cops in dum dum area as they belong to Kolkata police.
Why dont you try some areas like salt lake malls or rajarhat. There delhi and other no vehicles roam till midnight & I will also be able to participate this time.[;)]

Why they catch the cars? If all documents Ok how they file case against the motorist ? I have never been on this route. Please inform me.[surprise]
