Nice place, but I saw a suggestion regarding Princep Ghat.

As anshuman said,In Princep ghat there will be huge number of people gather for morning walk and you need to park your car road side and photography is also a problem.

 

[Myth]

I am ok with eco park in Rajarhat. Good roads and not crowded at all, especially during the morning hours.
Someone with a good knowlegde of kolkata start a voting with a list of good meeting points in or around kolkata('In' preferably ). This way, we can single out one place and also have a count of all participants.

1.Rajarhat Eco Park
2.Princep Ghat
3.Lake(Southern Avenue)
4.Azad Hind Dhaba(NH6)
5.KMC park(dont know the name) just beside Austin Hyundai,EM bypass,patuli

Out of these, Rajarhat Eco Park & Azad Hind Dhaba(NH6) will not have any parking issue. Azad Hind Dhaba will be a little away from city. Around 60 KM from Kolkata.

Azad Hind will take more than an hour to reach, but there are eating options once we get there. Its almost 70kms from my place :(

If there are no places to eat in Eco park, we can always drive down to City Centre 2 :P

My vote Princep Ghat.. Have been thr for other automotive meets. No issues with parking car and taking snaps. The fresh air is amazing.

Azad Hind (NH6).. NO for me as I can't risk my car on the lonely highway to be caught for election duty.

Rajarhat Eco Park can have some similar reasons for me as above but still manageable..

Patuli.. Do not know so can't comment..

Lake (Southern Avenue).. Cant shout for it as it is just by my house and the feeling might be that I am advocating it for my laziness. But post 9 am when cars are allowed inside its amazing with a lot of empty space and greenery. Had a small HVK meet here last month.

Thanks Chandranath and Tenida. Yes Princep Ghat will be good shot location if there is no much crowd. Can some one do a check up anyday morning around 6.00 - 7.00 (if you are going that way) if the place will be good.

You cannot risk going out long way with your Xylo.

Fix Princep Ghat or Lake...

If it is Lake can vouch for it that post 9 am you have ample car parking space in the greenery for pic followed by sumptuous breakfast at Maharani with Hing Kachouri and Jelabi.

Eco park is also fine but it is more of a modern artificial structure... but am game
