I am sorry but in case if I am not pressing you too much, may not we ask you to request your fiance to take a taxi from the airport instead and to reach her destination, so that you may meet her at your (and her) leisure and convenience?

Thanks all of you who have attended the met. I have attended a few meets in several automotive forums but I confess that it was the best meet I ever had. Though the weather was a bit cold, we all enjoyed it much. The extra bonus was watching lots of motorbikes. First time I came across Hyabusa bikes (there were three of them), beside Harleys and other made. A few snaps from my side.

Thanks again. Sundays are full working days for me and I understand that the idea of taking a leave from my office was my well chosen decision.

Oh ok.. My bad. Sorry. Yes I was in Big Boss.

But it was not exactly an HVK meet because Samarjit, me, Rahul, Anish and ADC (not an HVK member) & now Sanjoy da (Sanjoy Ghosh of the Golden Quadrilateral fame) meet up regularly in China Town. Her it was just an extension of that informal meet [:)]

Will surely recognise you if I see you.

But all said and done I was too high to remember what happened in the latter half of that Big Boss meet[;)]

I am sure she would have agreed. Just that she was away for quite some time for work and it was I who wanted to be there at the airport. I am guilty of being very busy with work and not giving her time for the last few months. [embarass]

No problem. It was quite a big meet with about 20+ people. Everyone sharing their experiences on their first major highway trips.

Thanks to all those members who attended the meet on 11th Jan, It was really nice to meet all of you! The morning drive with the TAIgers was just superb, we enjoyed a lot and foggy NH2 was just like icing on the cake! All the members were very down to earth and friendly. We had a great conversation at Azad Hind Dhaba and also had some delicious food too! This meet was so far the best meet I have ever attended! It was really wonderful to drive with all the members in a coordinated manner! Thanks and keep revving!
Sorry for uploading pics late guys as I'm really busy these days!

Thanks Bodhi for the photographs. It was really great meeting you guys. Weather was was very cool and chilly (6-7 degree Celsius) at the same time 3 rounds of tea really helped us. I meet Bodhi around 06:30AM and bodhi was waiting for me. Then we meet sarkar da near park circus and Rohitda near AJC bose flyover. We stopped at Dankhuni Toll Plaza for the remaining members. We reached our destination at around 9 AM.

Yes Rahul,
Indeed it was great to meet all of you. Pictures uploaded are nice. I think Rohit's pictures are awaited which he will do post Monday once he is back.

Suggest that the groundwork of the next meet be started either in this thread or in a separate one.The first meet was initiated by Anshuman and Sanku (Swift Kolkata). The second was led by Bodhi.

Expect some one new to take the lead and initiate it. Check with Anshuman as to when he will be here and lets build up the dates around that time.

A thousand thanks to Bodhi for uploading such nice images. It was surely a great great great meet. It was my second highway trip and I was so much thrilled in that chilling atmosphere. Going at a speed above 80 continuously and sometimes just touching 100 is a new experience for me. [clap]

No problem. Nice pictures too. BTW, I happen to know that you had a long Calcutta-Hyderabad trip with your car lately. Will you let us have a brief idea about your travel timings? :please: When did you leave Calcutta and where did you stop on your way to Hyderabad for a rest? What about the travel timings of the return trip?

An idea from your side may help us, the other members of the forum, to plan any such trip in that direction future.
