But to be frank its really a tight budget & you will have to be very careful in that range :)

Have a look, All the Kodak models are cheap, robust & suits your style :)

But I would personally suggest Nikon / Olympus for long lasting & professional photo graphy!

Dont compare the models just based on pixels, a lot counts on :)

FINAL VERDICT : Stick with Kodak/Samsung if you cant strech your Budget. But do strech & buy NIkon / Olympus is my kind of choice

I checked out the Kodak C160 (8.2 MP)and C180(10MP) today and the pricing is Rs.4,999 and 5,500 respectively.
The guy captured few pics and showed me clarity, It looked quite nice. So, Now I'm thinking about the C180 as the difference is not much between both the models. But I'm still not in any hurry.

What are your opinions and suggestions? Is there any other better cam available in this range from any other maker?

I can tell that Kodak is the best in cheapest DC segment!

I'm sure that no other company will give 10MP Cam for just 5500.

You can wait till Diwali, go to Croma & pick C180

I dont know about any offers now but u cant stretch your budget huh??? i still believe sony cybershot is the best when it comes to digicam's. i myself own a 12.1MP sony cybershot worth 13k!!! the photo clarity is awesome and sony just rocks!!
