Intex launches two new multimedia speakers, prices start at Ra 5,700

Domestic mobile handset maker Intex Technologies launched two new speakers for Rs 5,700 and Rs 8,200, respectively. Sporting attractive LED screens, the new range of IT 6020 SUFB (5.1 channel) and IT 9500 SUFB (2.0 channel tower) speakers have built-in FM radio, USB/SD card reader and AUX in support to connect devices such as televisions, DVD players and computers.

“With these two products, we are providing feature-rich specifications and design for a high-end performance to our customers,” Nidhi Markanday, Director and Business Head (Consumer Durables & IT Peripherals), Intex Technologies said in a statement.

The speakers are designed to deliver a better audio experience for home and commercial use.

Xander Audios has launched ‘Stealth’ speaker with Bluetooth support in India. According to Xander Audios, ‘Stealth’ uses Switched mode power supply (SMPS) instead of Standard Transformer to handle range of voltage and fluctuations.

Dimensions of the Stealth speaker are 550 x 218 x 305 mm, and the company is pitching it for various uses from connecting with mobile phones to television sets and also for gaming. Domestic electronics company Zebronics on Friday launched a new speaker in its 2.1 speakers series at Rs 3,131. Designed with a sleek black look and housed in a wooden cabinet, the ‘Cube2 BTRUCF’ speaker delivers low-frequency and distortion-free bass.

“‘Cube2′ speaker is a latest iteration of square speaker with pocket-friendly price. The down firing subwoofer is designed to handle the low frequency well. The subwoofer also comes with LED lights and digital display,” said Pradeep Doshi, Director Zebronics, India in a statement. The speaker can play music from MP3 player, PC, TV, CD, DVD and other devices and has a built-in FM Radio.

Xiaomi has launched new ‘Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro HD’ in the US. The device is priced at $39.99, which is approximately Rs 2,730. However, there is no word on the Indian pricing and availability yet. One of the key highlights of these headphones is that they feature hybrid dual dynamic and balanced armature drivers, which Xiaomi claims to offer music with finer details. It is the upgraded version of Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro that the company launched earlier this year in India for Rs 1,399 (Silver color variant) and Rs 1,799 (Gold color variant).
