Now, I am thinking of installing a touchscreen HU +Reverse cam +satnav to replace the OE HU.
SO options are
1)Blaupunkt philadelphia 835
2) Android touchscreen HU

My car is used to drop & pickup the kids from the school (to & fro journey of 30 +45 mins) So I am feeling like using it to show them you tube videos related to their studies eg Volcano eruptions, drama shows based on topics in literature they study.
The mobile network is not available on a stretch of 3 km in the midst of the journey.
So, what would be a perfect choice taking in to consideration these points & the subwoofer specifications given above. Kindly do not hesitate to suggest anything else.

Posting some pics of the subwoofer.

Due to untimely rains, the road repair work got undone, car underbody scraped twice (missed you Fiat) while passing over the trenches formed due to it despite dead slow speed , hence got the 'Urathane cushions' fitted on the suspension springs and it seems the GC issue is solved on the same trenches.

Ya that symbol is to identify either of the 2 FE modes. One doesn't come with that symbol and other comes with it. Later, I shall upload picture of MID in my Rapid and Dad's Jetta regarding the same.

Yes the top end comes with ORVM mounted indicators, electrically foldable ORVMS, rain sensing wipers & auto dimming IRVMS as new additional features.

One question : [Early in the morning, I am facing one issue since beginning. At cold start after idling for a minute or two, when I move on, gear up shift doesn't take place unless RPM level goes to 3.5 to 4. 0 k RPM.which leads the engine to whine. This occurs for half a km distance or first 3 to 4 minutes. Later on gears start up shifting at 2 to 2.5 k RPM. And then throughout day it up shifts similarly without any need to raise the RPm above 2.5 k RPM while moving on from standstill.

Is this a problem or I need to wait before moving on from the standstill till the engine temperature reaches 90 °c after early morning cold start..?
I have observed that it takes half a km distance or 5 minutes of idling to raise the engine temperature to 90°c early in the morning. Rest of the day engine temperature reaches 90°c bit earlier.

I have no idea as mine is manual. One advantage of manual here [:)]

It seems that it takes some time before it starts working properly. If you go through the manual, idling is not suggested at all. Overall it does not seem a major issue.

Hi Tornado, sorry for missing this thread but congratulations on your Rapid. Wishing you thousands and thousands of happy miles with it. Regarding your cold start issue, I think this is done to warm up the engine quicker. As you said that the gearbox starts shifiting at normal RPMs once the optimum engine temprerature is reached. This happens my cousin's one month old Vento TDI DSG too. So no need to worry. As a Rapid owner, I can guarantee you 2 things-
1) You will really enjoy the car, the engine is awesome and the way it revs for a diesel is pretty impressive.
2) The handling is really good too but Im not sure if it will be a similar case for your car as you have added suspension cusions to it.

Anyways, good luck and enjoy the car.
