Petrol, diesel prices increased for 5th consecutive day

With a hike of Rs 0.35 per litre, the price of petrol in Delhi increased to Rs 107.59 per litre. The price of diesel also saw a hike of Rs 0.35 in Delhi thereby amounting to Rs 96.32 per litre respectively today.

Mumbai also reported a surge in fuel prices as compared to yesterday. Petrol witnessed a hike of Rs 0.34 and now costs Rs Rs 113.46 per litre, while diesel rates sored by Rs 0.38, amounting to Rs Rs 104.38.

Fuel prices hiked , Petrol touches ₹108.64 in Delhi

Petrol and diesel prices on Friday increased for the third consecutive day to touch record high levels across the country. With a hike of 35 paise a litre, the price of petrol in Delhi rose to its highest-ever level of Rs 108.64 a litre.

The price of diesel also saw a hike by 35 paise and took the fuel's rate to Rs 97.37 per litre in the national capital.

Fuel prices hiked for seventh consecutive day, petrol crosses Rs 110 mark in Delhi

In Delhi, petrol and diesel prices cost rose to Rs 110.04 per litre and Rs 98.42 per litre respectively today. In the country's financial capital, Mumbai, the petrol and diesel prices increased to Rs 115.85 per litre and Rs 106.62 per litre respectively.

Petrol, diesel prices get cheaper as govt reduces excise duty, states cut VAT

Petrol and Diesel will be cheaper from November 4 (Thursday) as the government on Wednesday announced a reduction in the excise duty by Rs 5 and Rs 10 respectively. Following Centre's move, several states including Assam, Tripura, Karnataka, Goa, Uttarakhand and Manipur have also announced a reduction in VAT to bring down fuel prices in their respective states.

Petrol Price In Delhi To Go Down By ₹ 8 Per Litre Due To VAT Reduction

The Delhi government has decided to reduce the value-added tax (VAT) on petrol to 19.40 per cent from the earlier 30 per cent. Following the reduction, petrol prices in the nation's capital will be slashed by ₹ 8 per litre. The revised prices will come into effect in Delhi from midnight today. As of today, December 1, 2021, petrol prices in Delhi stand at ₹ 103.97 per litre, while diesel is being retailed at ₹ 86.67 per litre. Come December 2, 2021, petrol prices in Delhi will come down to 95.97 per litre.

Petrol, Diesel Prices Hiked Across India For The First Time Since November 2021

Fuel prices in India have been hiked by up to 90 paise today, on March 22, 2022. Right now, petrol prices in Delhi stand at ₹ 96.21 per litre, up by 80 paise compared to a day ago when the prices were ₹ 95.41 per litre. On the other hand, diesel is being retailed at ₹ 87.47 per litre, while a day ago prices stood at ₹ 86.67 per litre in Delhi. At the same time, petrol prices in Mumbai stand at ₹ 110.82 per litre, while diesel is being retailed at ₹ 95 per litre, a hike of 84 paise and 86 paise respectively compared to a day ago.

Petrol, diesel prices hiked by 80 paise per litre each for second day

Petrol and diesel prices hiked by 80 paise per litre each on Wednesday morning, for the second consecutive day. On Tuesday, the fuel rates saw a hike after a pause of over four months. With the price hike, petrol in Delhi will now cost Rs 97.01 per litre while diesel in the national capital will now cost Rs 88.27.

In Mumbai, with a hike of 85 paise per litre, petrol will now cost Rs 111.67 per litre, while diesel will be sold at Rs 95.85 per litre.

Petrol and diesel prices were hiked by 80 paise a litre each on Friday, the third increase in four days. With three increases beginning March 22, petrol and diesel prices have gone up by Rs 2.40 a litre.

Petrol in Delhi will now cost Rs 97.81 per litre as against Rs 97.01 previously. Diesel rates have gone up from Rs 88.27 per litre to Rs 89.07.

Petrol and diesel prices were hiked by 80 paise a litre each on Saturday, the fourth increase in five days . Petrol in Delhi will now cost Rs 98.61 per litre as against Rs 97.81 previously while diesel rates have gone up from Rs 89.07 per litre to Rs 89.87, according to a price notification of state fuel retailers.

In four increases, petrol and diesel prices have gone up by Rs 3.20 a litre

Petrol, diesel prices hiked across metro cities; sixth increase in a week

Petrol price on Monday was hiked by 30 paise a litre and diesel by 35 paise, taking the total increase in rates in the last one week to Rs 4-4.10 per litre. Petrol in Delhi will now cost Rs 99.41 per litre as against Rs 99.11 previously while diesel rates have gone up from Rs 90.42 per litre to Rs 90.77, according to a price notification of state fuel retailers.

In all, petrol prices have gone up by Rs 4 per litre and diesel by Rs 4.10.

Petrol price on Tuesday was hiked by 80 paise a litre and diesel by 70 paise. With the increase, petrol in Delhi crossed Rs 100 per litre mark and will now be sold at Rs 100.21 per litre, while diesel rates have gone up to Rs 91.47, according to a price notification of state fuel retailers.

In Mumbai, petrol will cost Rs 115.04 per litre, while diesel rates have reached Rs 99.25.

Petrol in Chennai will now be sold at Rs 105.94 per litre, while diesel will cost Rs 96.

In Kolkata, the price of petrol is Rs 109.68 (increased by 83 paise) and diesel is Rs 94.62 (increased by 70 paise).

Petrol and diesel prices were on Wednesday hiked by 80 paise a litre each, taking the total increase in rates in the last nine days to Rs 5.60 per litre. Petrol in Delhi will now cost Rs 101.01 per litre as against Rs 100.21 previously while diesel rates have gone up from Rs 91.47 per litre to Rs 92.27 according to a price notification of state fuel retailers.

In Mumbai, petrol will now be sold at Rs 115.88 per litre, and diesel will be sold at Rs 100.10.

In Chennai, petrol will now cost Rs 106.69 (increased by 75 paise), while diesel will cost Rs 96.76 (increased by 76 paise).

In Kolkata, the price of petrol was increased by 84 paise and will now cost Rs 110.52 per litre, while the price of diesel was hiked by 80 paise, following which it will now cost Rs 95.42 per litre.

Petrol, diesel prices continue upward run; ninth revision in 10 days so far

Fuel prices continue to rise with petrol and diesel rates rising by another 80 paise per litre each in Delhi on Thursday, netting an increase of about Rs 6.40 a litre in the ninth revision in ten days so far.

In Delhi, petrol now costs Rs 101.81 per litre, while diesel is selling at Rs 93.07 per litre.

In Mumbai, the petrol and diesel prices have gone up by 84 paise per litre each, thus costing Rs 116.72 and Rs 100.94 per litre.

In Chennai, the price of petrol is Rs 107.45 (increased by 76 paise) a litre and diesel is Rs 97.52 (increased by 76 paise) per litre.

In Kolkata, the price of petrol is Rs 111.35 a litre (increased by 83 paise) and diesel is Rs 96.22 per litre (increased by 80 paise).
