There is nothing wrong in that question. I meant that the comparison between those two devices was stupid and he should absolutely go for Nexus 5. My only intention was to help him, not to belittle or mock him.

When did I act as a tech expert? I express my views, and I've the right to it.

I wrote my 8th exams. Reopening on this Friday.

See, I'm not mentioning a layman's opinion. In real, Nexus 5 is far better than Xperia Z in all terms. So literally I helped him by concluding that the comparison is stupid and he should go for Nexus 5. At least that's what my intention was (I'm not lying , rest is upto you to believe whether my intention was to help or to mock him).

I think Surfer should say about this, if he agrees on your views, I'll just go away and delete the post.

Ok guys here is a case I got for nexus 5 the brand is 'ROCK' the case is a flip cover style case and seems to me made of high quality materials the fit and finish is just perfect . and doesn't make the phone look too bulky .
It covers the screen , back and corners quite nicely . wear and tear of the case remains to be seen which I will update as time goes .

Thanks for the review @Raja,like you I am also a fan of stock google experience,I absolutely hate the Samsung's interface(no offence meant).Camera performance of this device was a revelation,I always thought nexus devices lack in camera performance which I personally experienced after taking photos from my friend's nexus 4.This phone surely delivers maximum bang for your buck.
BTW,its great to see so many VFM choices available at almost all price bands:have 10-15k to spend get a moto g,15-20k will get you a bb z10,20-25k the moto x and the lumia 920 and then we have the masterpiece,nexus 5 which absolutely smashes everything in the 25-30k range!

Got my Nexus5 yesterday. Got the rooting done immediately(Yes I am flashoholic). Today got the 4.4.3 update . Buying google phone makes sense now

I didn't find the need to root this phone. There is bloatware but still doesn't harm the performance. Anyways post a link of the rooting method you used. Maybe i'll do the same

For me its become a ritual to root the phone as soon as I get one
Main thing I want to install some apps which needs root such as adfree, greenyfy etc. Not to mention about the custom recovery and nandroid backup.

But unlocking the bootloader will wipe your phone clean, so very important to understand it.

In nutshell, first you need to have android sdk installed. Then on the phone "usb debugging" enabled. Then just boot to bootloader and issue commands from your desktop to unlock the bootloader, root, and to install custom recovery.

Go for Nexus 5. Moto X is a lower-end phone compared to Nexus 5.
