Thanks, even i felt this design is much better than the sunny,only if they could do something about that lousy interior

The rear turn lights have been lifted straight from Skoda .
Just join the tail lights with crome plate, & you get rear of scala.

As usual, Renault has done a better job than Nissan with the mix-match of lamps, bumpers etc. Sunny (I mean Scala) looks much premium now. Those rear lamps rather remind me of earlier Mercedes Benz C-Class (W203). On a lighter note: How Renault is going to promote it? New Renault Scala. It’s not just a sedan. It’s a sedaaaan.

Are you sure ? Because if Renault prices it 12 lakhs onward it can turn in a market dud the reason I feel is because the fluence starts if iam not mistaken at 13, lakhs maybe visran can confirm the prices for us . And yes I too agree it looks better then the sunny .

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think Scala is just rebadged Sunny, so why should the price starts from 12 lakhs? When sunny is starting from much lower price.

Exactly and since Renault is placing itself as a more premium brand then Nissan it might just be couple of thousand more .

There wont be a relaunch of Octavia brand that position is taken over by rapid, but by next year end or early 2014 we can expect all new Laura which is nothing but Octavia in international market
