Red Bull Soap Box Race in Mumbai on December 2 (Registrations Open)

Red Bull is coming up with another interesting and first of its kind show in India - The soapbox street race. It is a fun event where contestants compete against the clock in a downhill race with their creative custom made non-motorized rides. This event will held at Mumbai, Bandra on 2nd December 2012. The registration is free of cost for participants and it is open until 8 October 2012. Anyone? Following is the criteria. Please visit Redbull.in/soapbox for more information.

Each soapbox must be powered by gravity and imagination, which means no stored power or external energy sources allowed. And size does matter! All vehicles must be less than six feet wide and 20 feet in length, no more than seven feet high and cannot weigh more than 176 lbs (not including the driver). Drivers must be at least 18 years old, but engineers and grease monkeys of all ages are welcome to be part of the five-person team.
