A small correction buddy its 2.2 ltr mHawk engine, mine is a pre-refresh version.
The new design of Scorpio came just after 2 months of my Purchase.
But under the hood everything remained same.
Later they introduced Micro Hybrid.

It all started when Varun56061 wanted to take away alternator of my car.
But the moment bonnet was opened.
He was surprised to see no wirings.
That is all when discussion started.
An update that's the new battery that was replaced in August, the earlier battery served for 44 months.
A small correction buddy its 2.2 ltr mHawk engine, mine is a pre-refresh version.

I was told by ss80 when I met him that we would have a 800 meet shortly. Any update on that? Please let me know. I was not a member of TAI when you guys met last time. Not only 800, but let me know about any meet and I would be there.

Ha Ha, I have already swapped a alternator from Swift its working fine but need more power so taught for swapping this as it also has an vacuum pump which can be used for my brake booster (Improve Braking)

Thought of using this thread for upcoming proposed Bangalore(Chennai) members meet in April as most of these members might have subscribed to this thread where my job becomes easy
So, as I planned to travel to Bangalore during 24th to 28th of this month and felt we could have a meet on 27th(being a weekend) in and around Bangalore and also felt it would be good if members from Chennai can join this meet.
I am reaching Bangalore on 24th evening in my car and proceed for a family trip with my Brother in law family(who stay in Bangalore, on Begur Road), please not yet finalised but thinking of coorg at the moment, so interested members can join this trip with their families too.
Now coming down for our TAI members meet, since a working day is difficult to most of the members and thought of 27th, saturday willl be idle. we need to decide a place for this and It would be a day+evening trip in and around Bangalore. Now I wish members to come forward for this meet and a member from Bangalore (Varun,thegreatv,visran, etc.,) can voluntarily become a coordinator from Bangalore where life becomes bit easy for the same.
Hope to see a active participation from members for this and make the meet memorable one

Can we please have the meet in East/South side of Bangalore this time? It is really tough to drive from East to North and West in Bangalore traffic conditions.
I missed the meet last time, but will join for sure, if it is in South/East Bangalore this time :)
