OMG!! I missed this thread. Thanks to AppU for the PM which made me to search for TAI's happening. I was little away from computers as I spend more than 14+ hours at work with them. Just woke up and logged in to see if there are any meet for the weekend and was surprised. Unfortunately my "at0m" is at Olympia Honda for repairs and not sure if I can make it in my car [frustration]? But I have my RE parked down, May be I should ride for the meet? I have a call with my US Boss at 01:00 am tonight and not sure if I will have good sleep before I start my ride but I prefer not to miss this meet - I was wanting to meet you all fellas for sometime now. I will do all that I can to meet you folks!!

@AppU - Thank you for the call and for providing Sethu sir #.
@Sethu - I will be also riding from Chennai if things are good tonight!

Last minute changes in my plans :) Am joining the meet ! But since I would be come after my shift I would not get my car but will join my buddy Serrao who will pick me from my office. See you all at meet !!

Where will you be waiting in Hosur?

Option 1 : (Recommended) Come on the Hosur flyover and just after, take the first right 'U' turn, and wait on the left side. This place is not crowded usually. Or after the 'U' turn go further, as you enter the service road on your left, there is a veg. restaurant ANANDA BHAVAN, which is one of the best in Hosur, you can even wait there, or if hungry go ahead with your breakfast.

Option 2 : Before Hosur flyover take the left service road, and under the FO take the right turn, that is Bagalur road. And this spot is very much crowded & you can't park the vehicle there, besides cops will be there. So you can go little further, say 400 mtrs. and wait at the entrance of TNHB flats

Anyway we will update over the mobile.

What is the final route are we taking? From Electronic City are we going through Attibele - Sarjapur - Bagalur - Jains farm or Electronic City- Attibele - Hosur - Bagalur - Jains farm?
I am asking this because I'm planning to take Sarjapur route which will save me almost half of my travel and I can wait for you guys near Sarjapur, which also good place for meeting point (void of traffic).

This Meet is my first time too and seems to be really amazing. I have calls well upto 12 midnight. Not washed my car. Hope I will make it on time. Can not wait to meet you guys tomorrow morning.

Ha Ha.. i am bringing the stickers [around 12 numbers] and strictly the stickers will be delivered at Jain Forms[lol] How is it.

Ram sir, I choose Option 1 [I can also have breakfast na[;)]] Just kidding. I suggest shall we all have breakfast together?

I have been to Hosur couple of times to our unit. I do not know much. I know one flyover where there is a bus stand below that [left side] Hope you are talking about that flyover sir.

If now how about you guys breakfast?

Another info is, Mr. cooldhaya, another sr member from chennai is also coming with his jetta. I will confirm this around 9pm. tonight.

Had a nice chat with RK sir now. As he said, am like a school kid got permission for school excursion.

Hmm. Unfortunate. Just came out of this Aerospace medical institute in HAL. Thought of meeting RK if I could finish the meeting early. These guys are not punctual as we think. Postponed finally. Saturday 8AM. Blasted them in my mind. Or I loose the entry to ISRO campus. I managed all other work postponed to afternoon. Sorry guys. It could be one of the best bangalore meet.

Chennai Guys here is the road status from Chennai - Bangalore.
Chennai- Vellore: Two lane Road condition is good till Kanchipuram. after Kanchipuram the road with full of patches for some stretch.you can find newly laid three lane road near walaja to Vellore.
Three lane road process starts from Vellore. you can find diversions before entering Vellore.
Vrllore-Krishnagiri: So many bridges are under construction this road has so many diversions. you can also find very good three lane road also.

Krishnagiri - Hosur : at some stretches the whole roads are under construction. be aware of lorry drivers.

apart from that, most of the diversions are starts on blind curves. be careful on all turning/curves.
