Quick Bangalore Meet (Update: Another Meet on 27th April 2013)

Now coming to the exact location for the meeting of Bangalore members, I think we can cross the signal after the toll booth and stand there in a line as suggested by a few members here. What say guys?

How about the meeting point and time? Is it ok for all, the way I suggested? Or any changes?

Also, do we have any one person as the Point of Contact for all others to reach out? Just in case of any confusions, late/early arrival, last minute drop outs etc. I would suggest, someone equipped with Bluetooth facility to opt for it, to avoid any distractions and cellphone driving. I can be one too, but not much familiar about Bangalore for directions etc.

400 meter from Toll . Left side you can see Indian Oil Petrol Pump (That may be on the service road). I wont suggest you to be on service road as the vehicles go both directions and will be busy compared to main road.

I stay near PESIT (near Nayandahalli). I really thought of making atleast to EC Flyover from our Link Road (NICE Road). Unfortunately that is closed. 34KM will take way long if i start coming thru the normal roads :(

Let's not go to service road. We will wait on the main road itself. Moreover according to the situation there, we change it. In either case members can locate.

Sorry guys, recently moved to a new job, so little tied up. Hence unable to reply on time.

appus, if things gets hectic at my office, even am planning to meet everyone at Ecity flyover atleast. If need be, we both can go together to the meeting place. We can take Nice road entry to Ecity through kanakpura road. Let me know

Yes, POC from Bangalore members is always good to coordinate, so exchange your numbers with each other thru' PM and nominate one are two POC(It is always better if a POC who stay some where around EC or Silkboard)

@Appus,CF,Sethu, I understand the work situation of all of you very well, but what I have learn't in my 20 years of working life is that we always need to balance working life and personal life together, it is not a good idea to stick to only one. Example : when you become free from working life(to me it never happens so), you may not have energy to travel, may not have too many meets happening, may not have too many active and enthusiastic friends around, so we need to take a break and join else where always. That is what I am doing now break from work for 4 to 5 days(though the present work situation is terribly hectic) and coming for meet, IF there is a will, then there is a way. My whole visit purpose is the meet and of-course I spend some time with my BIL family. If you want to know how to balance the things, I will tell you when we meet. Remember each day and each minute is important in life to do everything, either it is career, family, relatives, friends, travelling etc.,

Now, as I know every work place will give its employees something called "leaves" so just utilise one for the meet if possible

But sometimes you may not skip something or shift to next day due to various things. My commitment is like that. But I am trying to complete it one day before.

Mine is 99% is confirmed.
