Overspeeding car rams into students in Cherthala; 8 injured

Alappuzha: An overspeeding car rammed into some students and bike riders in Poochakkal here on Tuesday afternoon. Eight persons including four students
have been injured in the accident that took place around 2 pm.

The overspeeding car lost control and rammed into 3 girl students walking on the other side of the road. In the impact of the collision, the students were thrown to the nearby canal. Following this another student, on a cycle, was also hit. Later the car rammed into a post and came to a halt. Earlier the car had rammed into a bike injuring two persons travelling on the bike.

3 dead, one injured after car collides with divider in Mumbai

Three people died and one sustained injuries after a speeding car rammed into a divider in Mumbai's Worli on Friday. The woman who was driving the car has been admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital.

According to news agency ANI, the woman is in a serious condition.

3 killed in road mishap at Perumbavoor

Perumbavoor: Three persons were killed on Sunday early morning when the car in which they were travelling hit a parked car at MC Road in Pulluvazhy in Perumbavoor. The deceased were identified as Malappuram natives Haneef Shahjahan and Mundakayam native Sumayya.

The car was going towards Mundakayam to Sumayya’s house when the accident happened. The lorry was laden with logs and was parked on the roadside.

Very tragic ..when people take drives at odd times they fail to get understand about biological clock and sleep.
In December distant relatives of mine had a similar accident 5 persons in Indica and the boy an 18 year old was driving and dozed off and rear ended logging trucks parked roadside .They way the car appears as though there was no survivor in the mishap.Luckily all five survived with very severe Injuries.
I have also driven on this stretch at odd times.I have observed that the lorries are illuminated and travel very slowly by virtue of their weight.Due to the number of road curves they frequently stop for cooling the engine and this becomes hot recipe for disaster in the already narrow roads with no dividers.
If you can avoid always try not to drive at odd hours when you are supposed to be sleeping at home.Even people driving cars at odd hours drive like it's the end of the world

Truck Slides Off & Hits Ford Freestyle Dramatically In Wet – Shocking Video

A shocking and in many ways disturbing video has emerged online and viewers discretion is advised. Coming from Sakrebailu in Shimoga, Karnataka the front passenger in a red coloured Ford Freestyle was shooting video on what seemed to be drenching conditions due to frequent thunderstorms. While approaching a right hand turn on a narrow road, the video shows an oncoming truck at high speed.

The slippery road has certainly caught the truck driver and he could not control the massive vehicle. With sudden brake applied, the rear end left loose with no traction and hurled on to the Freestyle. The images of the accident show the top of the Freestyle completely ruined and a woman in the car was said to have sustained minor injuries.

Brand New Kia Carnival Crashed Into A Wall During Delivery

At the beginning of the video, a dealership personnel seems to be informing the new and excited owner about all the controls and the switches of the new MPV. A person can also be seen clicking a picture of the new car, which they believe will be a souvenir of this moment, and will be cherished by the owner later in his life.

However, the situation turns ugly in just a matter of seconds. It seems like the owner got too excited and put his foot down on the accelerator instead of gradually pushing it to move the Carnival. The result? The immaculate new Clear White Kia Carnival goes and crashes into a concrete wall. The impact was so severe, that even the front airbags were deployed.

Luckily, no one was hurt during this episode. Well, at least physically. The person who was spotted clicking the picture of the new Carnival earlier in the video, seems to have gotten out of the way of the massive 2.2 tonne MPV just in time. If you look closely, you can also see that a dealership employee was still talking to the driver of the car, and the driver’s side door was open as the car started accelerating.

Tata Nano Sandwiched Between 2 Honda City In Kerala

As seen in the video, a Tata Nano is sandwiched between two white-coloured Honda City sedans on a street in Kerala. As can be seen in the video, a red-coloured first-gen Hyundai Santro slows down to pass over a speedbreaker. As a result, even the white-coloured Honda City immediately behind the Korean hatchback also reduces speed. What happens then, see here:

In the mishap , the front-end of the second City has suffered from a twisted hood and a broken bumper, the posterior of the City in front of the Tata Nano has received a dent on its bootlid and a damaged rear bumper. Interestingly, the Tata Nano has emerged out of the situation with just a deformed rear registration plate.
