Moving BMW catches fire in Ahmedabad | Watch video

A moving BMW car near Vishala Circle in Ahmedabad caught fire on Friday. Luckily, the driver escaped uninjured.
The car was completely charred before a team of Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services (AFES) doused the flames.
The reason for the fire is not known but it might be a short-circuit due to overheating that started fire in engine which later engulfed the vehicle.
The other reason can be because of any alterations done in the wiring to accomodate a non authorised accessories or a tempered Wiring

A video of the incident showed plumes of black smoke billowing with huge flames flicking out of the car.

Speeding Jaguar rams into Mercedes in Kolkata, 2 pedestrians killed

Two Bangladeshi nationals were killed on Friday night when a speeding Jaguar crashed into a Mercedes Sedan. The victims had taken shelter under a Kolkata Police Traffic post, which was also uprooted from its concrete base during the accident.

Car rams into pedestrians in Bangalore street, 7 injured

At least seven people were injured after a driver, allegedly drunk, lost control of the car and drove onto a pavement in Bengaluru.

The accident, which was captured in a CCTV camera, shows the car suddenly veering towards the pavement and hitting the two-wheelers parked near the footpath before ploughing into the pedestrians. The mishap occurred in front of a hotel at HSR Layout on Sunday afternoon.

Three killed in accident near Karnal

Three persons were killed when their car jumped a road divider and collided with a truck near Karnal in Haryana on Tuesday, a police official said.
The incident took place on national highway near Uchani village, Investigating Officer in the case, Vijay Kumar said over phone.

13 dead, several injured after bus, jeep collide in Rajasthan's Jodhpur

Jodhpur: At least thirteen people lost their lives in a road accident at the Jodhpur-Jaisalmer highway on Friday. The tragic bus mishap took place near Dhadhaniya village in Jodhpur.

Seven men, five women and one child are among those killed in the accident.

Eight others who sustained injuries in the accident have been referred to a hospital in Jodhpur.

The accident took place when a bus and a camper jeep collided near Dhadhaniya village in Jodhpur district.

Eight killed in road accident in Dubai

Eight people have been reported killed and six seriously injured on Monday morning in an accident along Mohamed Bin Zayed Road , the main traffic road which runs through the city.

Seven of those dead are Indians.

Mr Vipul , Consul General of Dubai in a tweet said , “ We are sad to inform that seven Indians have passed away in a horrific bus accident in Dubai. 7 Indians are also injured of which 3 are in serious condition. Consulate officials are at rashid hospital to assist. We will keep updating.”

As per the initial report , there was a collision between a mini bus and a truck on the Sharjah-bound lane, before Mirdif City Centre.

The victims are being treated at the Rashid Hospital in Dubai.

At least 21 people killed in Banaskantha Bus mishap

At least 21 people were killed and more than 50 others injured when a packed private luxury bus overturned in Banaskantha district of North Gujarat on Monday evening.

The ghastly mishap took place at Trishulia Ghat, a hilly patch on the Ambaji-Danta road near Ambaji town of Banaskantha district.

The private luxury bus, carrying around 70 passengers, overturned at Trishulia Ghat after the driver lost control of the vehicle due to heavy rain in the area.

PM Narendra Modi tweeted condolences at the loss of lives.

5 children injured as school bus overturns in Madhya Pradesh's Hoshangabad

At least five children were injured after a school bus met with an accident in Madhya Pradesh early on Friday. The incident was reported from Hoshangabad.

According to news agency ANI, the bus accident occurred after it overturned.

The injured children were admitted to the hospital.

On 3rd Nov a truck trailer carrying iron rod met with an accident in Kasara ghat at morning. Due to sudden break failure of the vehicle the driver couldn't control it hit 25 vehicle including cars, a truck and a LPG tanker injuring about 14 people including the drivers. It took 3 hours to clear the road.
