Modified Lancer

This modified Lancer was spotted during the "TAI Chennai meet",it had a few good and bad modifications on it.
Good modifications are the painting of the body kits,goos exhaust sound,roof scoop,hood and windshield sticker.
I like the car's spoiler in the side profile,maybe innovative.
The bad mods are the maintainance of the car,750 Li badge,silver colored reverse sensors and bad alloys.
The reason for bad maintainance is that the car had a lot of damages and the car was literally flying over the speed breaker,as the car hit the bump ahead of the speed breaker at high speed with around 5 guys inside the car before entering into Mahabalipuram,but the kits weren't damaged,which made me to think how the kits didn't hit the ground.
I don't know whether other TAI members saw the car flying,but,it was not good driving from my perspective.
I again spotted this same Lancer at Park Hotel a few weeks ago.

It definitely looks good, but it could look better if the stickers were removed.

@ AMG,yes you are correct.The kits looked like they were from Pudhupet,that is,kits for 10 to 15 k

Kits do not break up on bottoming .

I dint notice that- you have sharp eyes!!

I again spotted this same Lancer at Park Hotel a few weeks ago.

2 observations:
1. Horrible spoiler, which spoiled her(the lancer)
2. The bonnet is a real sad sight.
I'd say, it does not belong to this thread.

@ Ilango,Thanks,I know that kits do not break on the bottom,but the damage will be on the buttons/screws and on the fenders due to over pressure.

@ Arkin,the spoiler looks good on the side profile,but not from the rear.The bonnet(hood) and the roof scoop are a replica of a Lancer modified by Autopsyche.

Yes,it had starting trouble after having lunch,but the flying scene was before entering mahabalipuram,when the road was diverted for private buses towards Pondicherry,as private buses were not allowed to enter on sundays,because of traffic trouble.

Modified Lancer

This Lancer was spotted a few months ago at a petrol bunk near Park hotel,it caught my eye when i was over a flyover and i thought this to be the Lancer EVO,as the color struck my eyes in a flash and i took an U-turn and went to the bunk and it had water wash facility and i asked for water washing and the guy there said it will take a couple of hours and i said i might come after lunch as i was plannng to return back to Pondicherry.The Lancer owner(21 years old) is college student from Loyola,when i enquired about the car's details and the place of modification,he said it was done by Vijay,i said i don't remember his name,and he listed the modifications done.
It was a silver color lancer,bought as a second hand from the modifier and the car has the following modifications,
1)Skirts,imported from Singapore.
2)Custom paint job.
3)Painted interiors.
4)16" Rims.
5)Matte black hood.
6)Smoked taillights,sparing the reverse lights.
7)good exhaust sound.
After leaving the place,i was thinking who is Vijay,later i got him that he is the owner of "TINKER TONE",whom i have met nearly 1 year ago for modification/fabriaction.He told about himself and his career's turning points,and he had some good concepts in mind too.
How is this for a modification?

Now that's one nicely modded Lancer. It comes as a breather after the Potato Wedge Shape spoiled one. Is the facia painted as in your car or is it Red leather?

Those are painted interiors and custom seat covers matching the car's color.

The interior looks way much cooler than the exterior.

One observation:
The door mouldings haven't been repainted/upholstered in Red with leather/paint.
