Hello Guys,

Some pics of my self modified "Red Devil" ikon. Nothing major, wanted to keep it subtle and enhance the look and make it stand out.

Please give your encouraging comments.

Pics are average as taken using a mobile.
Need more clear and daylight pics bro,

P.S, can make the interiors of the projectors black to give it a mean look IMHO, obviously the light brightness will be hampered, but see if you coudl add additional lights.

Just saw these M- 800 car photos with Extended wide Tyres and perhaps extended wheel Rims.
Most of these are on cars belonging to members of the Club MS8
https://www.facebook.com/ClubMS8.kerala.INDIA/
Though it's predominantly a Kerala based club the have quite a number of members from the NE States. There are some odd members from Goa, Mumbai and Punjab too.

Wondering what is the advantage of such adoption ? may be for better ground grip?
Only for looks

however load on the Engine may increase and more fuel is required !!!! Is it not risky to have such extended Tyres ?
There will be extra load on the engine and increased fuel consumption. But most of these cars are anyway weekend cars.

This particular mod is the most weird one to be frank. During the rains, these kind of mods are a hazard for the fellow 2-wheeler users. Frankly, neither the alloys nor the wheels add any taste to the car. With due respect, the pics belong to weird modification thread Sir.
They seem to be popular though. Other than that most of the cars are really Tastefully done up and were the inspiration for the following thread:

Club MS8 (Maruti 800), Modz Maruti 800 Club MSA (Old Alto), GangAlto (Old Alto F8D and K10) and Alto 800 Modz have some nice cars:

Customized 2018 Maruti Suzuki Swift Looks Like a Proper Sports Hatchback

The Maruti Suzuki Swift has been one of the most popular hatchback in India, especially among those who want to buy a car that looks and performs like a sports hatchback. Although’s Swift’s humble 1.2/ 1.3-litre engine doesn’t fall in the category of a proper sports hatchback, but given the lack of options in the country, people have had an affinity towards this Japanese product for years now, and has customized it according to personal taste.

The 2018 Swift is undoubtedly one of the best looking hatchbacks in the country right now and has been on sale for over 6 months now. It was about time someone picked their Swift and gave it a makeover to look like a sports hatchback. One such tastefully modified Maruti Suzuki Swift can easily be the India's first and best lowrider Swift.

The modified Maruti Suzuki Swift has a Kochi registration which isn’t a surprise given the taste of Kerala people in automobiles. Shared on Instagram the Swift is finished in Pearl Arctic White and rides lower than the regular car, featuring twin-spoke alloy wheels finished in black and a wider set of tyres.

This is most probably a top spec version given the presence of projector headlamps and LED DRLs and also gets Swift RS inspired red stripe running across the grille, blacked front Suzuki insignia, ORVMs, roof, and rear spoiler. The badges from the boot lid have been removed too.

While there is no information on the interior and mechanical updates, we are sure the interiors are also customized to match the exteriors. As for the price, the 2018 Maruti Swift range starts from Rs 4.99 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) for the base petrol variant and Rs 5.99 lakhs for base diesel version.

Kerala workmanship for car mods gives them the nickname of 'mod's own country', I'm looking forward to see a nicely modded Nexon from their side.

This Modified Maruti Baleno Looks Just TOO CLASSY

Red-D Customs, a car customizer based out of Pune, has given the Maruti Baleno B2-segment a huge shot in its arm by injecting a lot of classiness into it. Basically, the competitively priced hatchback, which is already a pretty premium model, has been given a thorough makeover that makes it look and feel very luxurious on the inside.

Even the exterior has been given some subtle modifications. For example, there’s a discreet hatchlid spoiler that has a decided sporty carbon-fibre finish. The chrome appliques on the lower and upper parts of the trunk-lid have been replaced with black-coloured trim. Even the chrome-finished badges have been replaced with grey-coloured ones.

Of course, changes on the interior are a lot more comprehensive. The car gets a bespoke leather upholstery at the front and the rear. The roof gets a beige trim but the seats get a dull red finish. The dashboard gets a dull red and black finish. Even the door inserts and the steering wheel get the same dull red finish. All this makes the interior just too classy. The rich leather, along with the dull red-black colour scheme, makes the cabin look as luxurious as that of some premium car.

Other than the small visual updates for the exterior and some more comprehensive changes for the interior, this modified Maruti Baleno from Red-D Customs doesn’t get any other modifications. In India, the Baleno is available with three engine options. The most premium hatchback in Maruti Suzuki’s stable is underpinned by the lightweight HEARTECT platform.

The petrol variant gets a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated-aspirated K-Series unit that produces 82 Bhp and 113 Nm. There’s also a more powerful petrol engine in the form of the 1.0 litre-3 cylinder BoosterJet turbocharged unit for the RS variant. This engine outputs 100 Bhp and 150 Nm. Finally, the Baleno also comes with the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine that Maruti manufactures under a license from Fiat. All the engines get a 5-speed manual transmission.

The 1.2-litre petrol engine also gets a CVT automatic transmission. Prices of the Maruti Baleno start at Rs 5.48 lakh (ex-showroom). All the variants get dual front airbags and ABS as standard.

This Modified Nissan GT-R from ADV.1 Wheels Looks Like a Low Rider

The Nissan GT-R is considered one of the ultimate sports cars offered from a Japanese automaker. The famed Skyline GT-R skyrocketed the fame of the Japanese thoroughbred even further. However, the folks at ADV.1 Wheels have taken it a step further with some radical changes. It gets purple paint job with low stanced wheels tucked into widebody fenders that almost gives it the appearance of a low rider.

The modified GT-R comes with the wheel manufacturer's dealer in Indonesia and sports a Rocket Bunny Pandem body kit. The car features ADV.1 wheels which are four ADV5.0 CS 21-inch track-spec rims in this particular case. It can be safely assumed that the modified GT-R would have a mechanism to raise the suspension and make it more driveable on the road.

The model year for this particular Nissan GT-R is 2018, which means, with any modifications, the car gets 565 hp going to all the four wheels. There are obvious modifications to the suspension but how they'll translate into more performance and handling, which the standard GT-R already possess, is hard to comprehend. Either way, the modified Nissan GT-R looks uber cool.

The GT-R is certainly a car which we’ve seen dressed up to such a degree many times, though to be honest, this one with its purple finish and gold/black stanced wheels could be the most shocking of the bunch. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so we try not to go too far into personal preferences on such things. We’ll just say this creation isn’t our first choice for hitting the streets in a GT-R.

With its purple finish and gold/black stanced wheels, this Nissan GT-R could be one of the most shocking modifications we've seen so far. It goes without saying that the Purple Pandem Rocket Bunny Widebody Nissan GT-R with Adv5.0 track-spec CS wheels is definitely a looker!

Hyundai Elite i20 to Toyota Innova: 5 everyday cars modified into red hot lookers by 360 Motoring

The car modifying sector in India is growing rapidly in India. While engine and mechanical modifications have yet to pick up speed, external modifications are now in sync with global trends. Today we take you to Kerala, famously known as “God’s own country” and show you some of the wildest body modifications on our roads right now. All the modification work on these models has been done by 360 Motoring and it is based out of Calicut, Kerala. The garage has built some extremely well-rounded, modified cars. Here are five of their products which look dope to say the least.

Hyundai Elite i20

The Elite i20 is one of the most popular vehicle from the Korean manufacturer’s stable. This one here has been made even better and gets many updates including a widebody kit. The custom body kit includes a new aggressive front and rear bumper and side skirts. The vehicle also gets custom full body contrasting orange body paint that will put the vehicle in the eyes of many road users.

A sunroof from Webasto also takes it place increasing the overall appeal of the car. However, it’s a manual unit that has to be opened and fixed by hand. The car now runs on new 16-inch deep dish alloy wheels. Leather seats have taken place instead of stock ones giving the interiors an upmarket feel. Mechanically, the engine remains same but a BMC air-intake has been added for increased air-flow and better

Chevrolet Cruze

Though not available on the market anymore, the Chevrolet Cruze is one vehicle that is loved by the all enthusiasts alike. Many still hold onto the stylish diesel rocket. This one here is an extreme modification of the Cruze which looks like a menacing dragon now. The ultra-wide body kit makes heads turn at gunpoint, be it enthusiast on non-enthusiasts. The car now gets an all-new bonnet with raised air-intake in the middle. The grille has been given an all-black treatment and looks radical. The headlamps have been updated too.

Integrated DRLs now adorn the aftermarket bumper. The fenders are now much wider with bolt-on kit. This has been done to accommodate the 18-inch tyres that are super wide. Along with the front, the rear bumper has also been updated carrying the same design language. What really makes it stand out though are those gorgeous scissor doors, taking the whole look to super car leagues.

Honda Accord

The all-new hybrid Accord now has quite different design and stance as compared to the last generation sedan. With the all the hybrid additions, the new Accord is not as much attractive to the enthusiasts as the last generation one. Now here is the last generation Accord that has been modified with a super widebody kit by the garage.

The car now sports updated bumper with integrated LED lamps, extra wide fenders that lend it killer looks, and a minimal rear bumper to show off the super wide 18-inch tyres. This Accord for sure is one to have your hearts hooked upon.

Toyota Innova

The Toyota Innova is among the best-selling MPVs of the country. Although in stock form, it wouldn’t really inspire a lot with its MPV-ish looks but this, this one truly takes the game to a whole different level. It isn’t too wild but neither would it let the petrolhead in you die.

The Innova now dons a stylish signature Lexus spindle grille and it rocks that look. It also gets a new bumper with integrated LED lamps and wide body kit. The widebody kit includes customised fenders, new rear bumper and side skirts too. The bumper lip has been customized for a more aggressive look.

Honda Civic has been an enthusiast favorite since long. Though discontinued, it will make a comeback to India soon. Many previous generation Civic owners maintain their vehicles in pristine condition. This one here gets extreme modifications. It gets new headlamps with integrated LED DRL, a new front bumper with integrated DRL, and widebody kit.

The widebody kit includes wider wheel arches, new rear bumper with quad exhaust and side skirting. And let us tell you, those quad exhaust look the part. The car also gets killer scissor doors making it an enthusiasts wet dream. The interiors have been updated with new seat fabric and customised steering wheel along with customisedgear lever.

Hyundai Grand i10 modified – Typhoon custom i10 costs owner Rs 2.5 lakhs

The Hyundai Grand i10 is a no-nonsense city car with efficient engine, understated design and well built interiors. It’s not really a popular choice among customization enthusiasts but this particular example, nicknamed Typhoon, clearly demonstrates that the cheerful little Hyundai can adopt extensive modification.

The harmless front end of the stock car has been replaced by an angry-looking setup that is a part of Smoke’em bodykit. The new hexagonal grille, large foglight enclosures with LED DRLs, black chin spoiler, vented hood and red highlights make the hatchback very sporty. The profile too looks aggressive, thanks to red-finished 16-inch Lenso alloy wheels with aftermarket tyres, flared wheel arches, side skirts and an assortment of decals.

The rear fascia sports a roof-mounted red spoiler, custom bumper complete with diffuser and twin exhaust pipes, and smoked taillight clusters with LED elements. The purple custom paintjob forms a huge part of this modified Hyundai Grand i10’s appeal. If we have a grouse, it has to be the ‘eat, sleep, JDM’ decal on the front fenders which is not accurate (JDM stands for Japanese Domestic Market, a term which is widely used to denote modified Japanese cars).

Interior receives leather wrapped steering wheel, custom tan leather seat covers with 7D mats, Sparco gear knob, Android compatible 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Polk Audio components and a HD reverse camera.

The modified Hyundai Grand i10 is not just about the show. The mechanical upgrades justify the car’s nickname Typhoon. The 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine is now aided by BMC cold air intake with turbo fan, ECU remap, NGK laser iridium spark plugs and a custom exhaust system with dual HKS end can. The car also gets custom lowering springs to reduce the ride height and improve handling.

The power outputs are not discussed but expect the spruced up hatchback to offer more than the stock car’s 83 PS and 113 Nm of torque. The modification took Delhi-based Smoke’em Customs (Instagram ID: @smokemcustoms) nearly 40 days and around Rs 2.5 lakhs to complete.

Modified Maruti Ciaz ‘Golden Eye’ from Modsters wants to be an Audi

The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is currently the top-selling sedan in India. Chennai-based Modsters Automotive have prepared an extensive body kit for this successful car. Done in black-and-white paint finish, the car looks like an Audi, save for the four-ringed badge on the grille.

A big honeycomb grille now takes most of the real estate up front. It flows down from the bonnet to the newly added front splitter effortlessly, and has a hexagonal shape, similar to the grilles found on Audi cars. The front bumper has been completely redone with glossy black inserts at the lower end.

The stock headlamps have been replaced by a more upmarket projector unit. It also comes with halo rings and a DRL strip to boot. There are hi-low projector fog lamps present too which top up the whole front package. An Audi badge would have let this car actually pull off the Audi look.

Moving to the sides, the car features a rub strip and blacked-out side skirts. The top half portion of the car is covered with a matte black wrap giving it a distinctive look. At the rear, the car now features custom made tail light units. The tail light looks cool and now comes with LED strips.

The rear bumper too has been reworked completely and comes with rear skirts that give the car a lower stance. The lower end features a blacked-out diffuser too. The boot top gets a spoiler, which further adds to the car’s character.

The Ciaz now rides on custom Momo Italy alloy wheels which lend it a premium look. There are many fine details present on the car, which may not be apparent at a glance but up the coolness quotient for sure. For example, the roof now features a golden shark fin antenna.

It is surrounded by numerous black fin-like structures that add up to the overall look of the car. If you want your Ciaz to look distinct from the rest of the herd, this is the thing for you.
