Future use translates that these parts will be equipped in New Honda cars which will be produced now onwards. I can identify some pretty Brios, Jazz, Citys and Civics in this image. This was a pure loss.

Was this Indian consignment[lol]? I can see most of them are either City, Civic or Brio. BTW this is one of the worst case of nature's fury destroying brand new cars.

Japanese car manufacturer will need approximately $650 million in order to restore their Thailand facility.
This Honda Thailand plant in question here had over 1,000 ready to be delivered vehicles when the floods struck. In a matter of hours the entire facility was submerged in 10 feet deep water. Along with these 1,000 cars, entire manufacturing unit was destroyed.

The current condition of Honda plant located in Central Thailand is as good as completely destroyed. Honda will need to start from scratch in order to restore their Thailand facility back to life. Analysts suggest that Honda Motors will need more than a year to bring the destroyed Thailand facility up and running.

Now thats what we call Nature's Fury. It can turn down anyone at any point of time. Oops too much of philosophy i guess[lol].
I see the wheels and some fibre parts of the car were removed before the destruction of the cars, so i guess they may reuse those parts through proper channel. I just wish Get well soon Honda:smile:.

No need to feel sorry for Honda. They will claim insurance for the damages. Whatever is not covered by insurance has already been recovered from the customers by their premium pricing. That's the Japanese way of working. The management will never bear any loss. It's always the lower rung employees and the customers who shell out.
