Congrats for the ride peter ,

Reg tyres , a pirelli will be better , though i have no idea about the other!
Thanks Illango. Still waiting for tyres. Getting some good deals from Mumbai and Bangy.

Milege Update:
Tanked up today and calculated the milege. Got 12.17Kmpl with AC. Actually last time I filled till the auto cut off and today the guy filled some some after the cut off. So the figures are not accurate. I'll do an average of 3-4 milege runs to get a proper milege. In the i10 the opening is too small to do the brim to brim filling calculation so I have to rely on the auto cut off which is not the most accurate.

The ICE is finally in:
Front Components: JBL GTO 608C
Rear Ovals: JBL GTO 948
Amplifier: Sony XM 6042

I'm pretty happy with the sound. More importantly my wife (who'll be using the car) loves the set up. Currently we're running it off an iPhone. Can't wait to get the Car PC in.

Also got the Sunfilm done wit 3M RE70 on the front glass and the rest of the glass with Global Ruby.

All I can say is beautiful. Love the way you have captured the fog lamp pictures. You have tastefully kept and accessorized the car. Also, Congratulations for the new ICE set up.

Tanked up today. Got a milege of 12.82 Kmpl

I'll be giving my car for the first service within a week. The 1st service does not require any oil change but as a precautionary measure I'm thinking of changing the gearbox and engine oil. I know Hyundai does not recomend it as they are confident of their engine but I won't do any harm.

The fit and finish on those seat covers are neat. Also, good to know that there is an option to fit the switch for the fog lamps. The design looks cool than the comtemprary. Btw, whats wrong with the gearbox or did I miss something?

Nothing wrong with the gearbox. Since the gearbox and engine are new there will me minute shavings of metal coming out whenever the gears move and also when the pistons move. All this gets collected in the oil. Since these deposits are maximum during the initial stages, I decided to change the oil. Hyundai does not do it because people will get a bad impression if they charge for oil in the first service itself. In all probability the car will be fine if I don't change the oil but doing it will not cause any harm.

Nice pictures and updates to your car Peter. Your mileage is same as my i10. Do let me know the tire upgrade.

Regarding me i have decided to go for getz 4.5J steel wheels and I may get set of five for mere 1500 INR. Have decided on 175/70 R13 Michelin for tires.

How did u manage to get the FOG Lamps. Here in Hyderabad they say that Fog lamps are yet to arrive from Hyundai.
Ask the dealer to order them. That's what I did.

If you're sticking to 13' why get new wheels? Try getting steel wheels of the i20 and go for 14". 185/60/R14 is the size. That's what I'm going for.
