Good work, the interior and exterior has come out very neat and the car is retained to its good old charm and I suggest you to go for under-body treatment(rust protection) so the life of suspension components, chassis and floor can be maintained, regards- happy miles ahead

hello hks sir,
anti rust treatment was done before painting car,
2 coats were done on whole underbody + all doors from inside + flooring from inside
i have attached few pics of it, it was looking like YUCK ! everything yellow yellow ! really YUCK, so gave a layer of white color over it :)

Thats a good restoration job one one of the most comforatble Indian cars. We have owned the 118NE earlier and had a good 4 year sprint with it. We have driven it all the way from Mumbai to Kanyakumari & back.

BTW where did you get the work done and how much time did it take. Have you made any modifications to the dashboard. please share some more pictures.

Finally it you want to sell it please let me know.

Thank you, our car too had many long drives, mumbai-ratnagiri was like daily routine atleast 8 times in month, few times delhi, couple of times bangalore in 2002 i think, it's odo had got reseted 4-5 times i guess, over 5Lac km running, 95% by my dad, remaining from uncle,
Work was done at my mamaji's garage, no modification done on car, everything is stock
it took approx. 99 days for completing restoration [ few things not done yet like AC work, music system, some electrical work like horns, windshield washer wiring, couple of doors not locking properly, will have to change front windshield as current one on car is bought from chor bazar used one & its having very scratches ]
dash is fitted but not the music system fibre, also heater plug light is not there on dash, in few days everything will be done then i'll post pics
come here we will find a good one in low price [25-30K] ,
NO ! our car will be ours only and i ll never sell it out as it's a last sign of my grandpa & he loved 981 more than any of the family members so 10000 % sure about that it will never be sold !
and till im alive 981 will be my ride only and im just 21 years old now so wait for few 50 years if you want it

Looks nice, however, check if you can replace it with LEDs, will make the interiors look brighter and softer.
