Prefer seagate.
Have this WD drive for 2 years now. Has been replaced two times .
The same has happened to one of my friends.

I too prefer Seagate over WD. This ultra hdd's review has been good and the price for it in the local market is 4600+ taxes. I keep my data in multiple storage 1tb x 4 as i had some bad experience with 'data' failure.

And, electronic items are kind of 'luck'. My Seagate Backup plus failed in 1 month (which costs premium compared to expansion/freeagent go).

The only downside I found for this particular model (sleek/slim) is the USB 3.0 connector is directly on the HDD (recovery can be little difficult as we need to get the same board).

WHY buy a PS3 now? It's already outdated. Try to get a PS4 from foreign countries, it's so cheap there. Or else get a budget gaming PC. Trust me, I sold my Xbox 360 and got a kickass GPU.

Another option is, get a used one for around 10K.

Try to get something on OLX, like I did. I got a good deal on 280X.

270x are for as low as 170$ = less than 10k

I know it's outdated but there's no way to source from outside india. 40k is too much for ps4. Ps3 costs 250$ and ps4 costs 400$.

so just compare it. ps3 is 15k outside and 20k in india. ps4 is 24000 outside and 38k in india.

For your information, even a PS4 sucks in front of even a 280X (it's the reality, but see how the PS4 will rock in the coming years due to its optimization).

Do you have any connection in the UAE? It's cheap there too.

Else, get a used PS3. Why waste money on such an outdated product?
