Hi Robs, How many KMs by now? Where you are taking it for Service? Any service station at Pathanamthitta? How many free service, and on what intervals? Keep update your thread.
Hello Bro.
Around 850 Kms as of now. 1st service is by 1,000 Km/1 Month, which will be done on 5th of next month. One service centre is there in Pathanamthitta, nearby J Mart. Here we can do the minimal services like oil change and other stuff. This service centre will be fully equipped in 3-4 months. Now the fully equipped service centre is located in Kottayam.
The standard warranty from Honda is 2Yrs/40,000Kms. We will get additional 2Yrs/40,000Kms warranty (& Road Side Assistance) on additional payment (of around 7.5K).

Honda Brio comes with 2 free Services, at 1000 Kms and then at 10,000 Kms as periodic maintenance Only Labor Charges are free, owner has pay for consumables and parts cost

» 1000 Kms / 1 month, whichever is earlier

» 10,000 / 6 Month, whichever is earlier

» Every 10,000 Kms / 6 month, whichever is earlier

A late congratulations.
The black interiors look much much better than the normal ones. Good choice.[clap]

And does the manual recommend servicing the car every 6 months / 10000kms ?
Most of the cars in this segment have a service interval of 1 year /10000kms

Honda used to recommend servicing every 6 months in some their older models but i thought they changed that to 1 year in the newer cars.

Hello Bro.
Thanks. I have got some luck to get the black int. as mentioned. [:D]
I think during the warranty period (4 Yrs / 80,000 Km), the servicing is done in 6 months / 10,000 Kms intervals.
Will check the manual and revert with more details.

Thanks Harry.
I had avoided Swift and bought Brio due to the exclusiveness and again I got the Exclusive one in Brio. [:D]
All the credit of those matte black alloys goes to my best friend, he found this in between those large number of alloy patterns (confusing) in the shop. [:)]
I have spent 17,000 Rs for 4 sets of those alloys.
The tyre is not upgraded, it is the stock one only. I think it looks big, because of those alloys.

Hi Robs, the mentioned service center is of Peninsular Honda. Muthoot Honda and Peninsular Honda are same, or dealership changed? What about the service center at Chengannuur?

Did you make any paint protection, like 3M?

Hi,
Muthoot and Peninsular are different dealers, but we can do the services from any of the nearest service centres (from 10,000 Km anyways we will have to pay for the spares - but no much costly repairs happens).
I am not aware of the service center in chengannuur, I don't think there is any.

I have not done paint protection or under body coating. Planning to do it in future.

Any Suggestions on it?

Peninsular Honda is having a service station at Chengannuur.
Just a google Peninsular Honda, you will find their service centers.

As you are aware about Kerala Roads. My fortuner is having issues with Tar Spots on bumper and side body. It won't go on normal wash. So I applied 3M paint sealant or protection. After this 3M protection, a normal wash is enough to remove the tar spots. This is due to poor paint quality, an issue with Toyota Innova and Fortuner. Just check with Muthoot Honda.

No Bro., Honda service station is not there in chengannur. I think it is a typographical error in the site. It is not CHENGANNUR, it is "CHERANALLUR". I hope you have gone through the below site,
Peninsular Honda Dealer Chengannur ID4685
Check the Pin code and the Telephone no's provided there, which shows the Service centre is some where in Ernakulam. [cry]
I will check with Muthoot Honda for the 3M Protection. If it is really worth doing, I will go ahead with it. B/W, how much did you spend for the 3M for your Fortuner?

Can any one tell me, whether I can use Honda Amaze side Beading on my Brio.
The size of rear door of amaze vs brio is different . Amaze has a bigger rear door as it is built on a longer wheelbase . Check photos from other forums and you will realise it .[:)]

Thanks for the reply. The wheel base difference is 60 mm (6 cm). Have you seen both Brio and Amaze together? If so, is there any major differences in length?
Have you put the side beading on your Amaze? Can you post some photos here?

No bro I have not put side door beading on my Amaze . But rear door size is definitely different because at my work place I see a few brios and the when I observe the doors they are smaller i.e. less wider than the amaze .
