You are spot on, Varun. I checked this morning and found that the drive shaft boot in indeed broken. Will have to fix it ASAP.

Get it done ASAP, with out lubrication the drive shaft will run dry.

It might cost around 2.5k for a new one. Are you using spacers ?

Unfortunately, the damage was not limited to boot. I have replaced the drive shaft for Rs.2,000.

Maruti Service Center was asking thousand bucks more. Got this done from a local mechanic (The same person who fixed my brakes when MASS messed up).

That's a good news Sir.Michelin Tires gives better grip and performance.After 5K Km of running in my Swift Diesel,I felt that Michelin is the best Tires.

Since you are Delhi based, i would suggest you to avoid online purchase and go at different outlets. You will get a better dealer at shops over online purchase.

You might find this amusing. Her pet name was ‘Dhanno’. A real workhorse indeed. Maruti 800 is the finest car I have ever owned and driven. In a short span of less than 10 Years, we have shared a lot of fond memories together but alas, I wish I knew that the end will be so miserable. Just hope that the person treats her well wherever she is right now. Enough said. I don’t think I would want to discuss about her any further. She’ll be in my heart and soul forever.
