Pondy trip is back to planing stage. 29th Mar being a long weekend, we are planning either to Pondy or Hyd.
Lets see how time will turn it.

this news is not true. TRAI has rejected the proposal and allowed Telecom companies to charge roaming. the loot carries on.

Yeah calls are charged but internet roaming is free. There are speacial recharges which makes incoming calls free (32 rs for 7 days)while roaming

Internet Roaming is Not concerned with This isse. AFAIK, Only BSNL and Vodaphone Maharashtra are roaming free for 3G. All other Dacoits loot us at Hot Charges for Roaming Internet. Totally Inconvenient!

Internet (Data) roaming is free for Airtel -3G,Reliance CDMA -2G and Tata Docomo CDMA-2G for whole of India. Checked by using the respective dongles.Vodafone also gives free 2G roaming.

The issue lies with TRAI who stops these companies to form alliances to share bandwidth.

^^I think today's elections results will change a lot things either in automobile world or mobile world. Wait for the all India unconditional roaming free soon[:)]

Vodafone 3g is also free.
