Nissan To Launch Duster-Based SUV in India

Nissan has confirmed its plans to bring the new mid-size SUV based on upcoming Renault Duster in FY-2026 in India. (Source: Link)

• This SUV will come with a Petrol-only powertrain with 1.3L turbocharged engine that produces 154 BHP and 250 Nm torque, coupled to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
• Nissan is unlikely to reuse the “Terrano” nametag since it will be a more premium offering and that model didn’t click with the buyers earlier. A seven-seat version too will be introduced by end FY-2026.
