Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles today announced the launch of the new Jawa 350 at a starting price of Rs 2.15 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The Jawa product range now includes the new Jawa 350, Jawa 42, Jawa 42 Bobber and Jawa Perak.
At the heart of the new Jawa 350 is a 334cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, EFI engine, which develops 22.5PS of maximum power and 28.1Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is equipped with an assist and slip (A&S) clutch.
The new Jawa 350 is based on a double cradle frame. It has a telescopic suspension at the front and twin shocks at the rear. There is a disc each at the front (280mm) and rear (240mm) with a dual-channel ABS. You get an 18-inch spoked wheel at the front and a 17-inch spoked wheel at the rear, both shod with tube tyres.
The motorcycle is claimed to have an enhanced stature with a long wheelbase (1,449mm) and 178mm ground clearance. The seat height is 790mm. While the motorcycle's kerb weight is 194kg, its dry weight is 184kg. It is available in Maroon, Black and Mystique Orange colour options. There are golden pinstripes enhancing the colour palette. There are signature twin exhausts as well.
