Sorry for the late reply Varun.
Nope as the current Activa's are having lid near lock, its not needed actually.
As no one can tamper the lock.
Update: Activa done with 150 kms on ODO.
The 1st full tank got over at 140 kms, so its giving me a mileage of 35-36 kmpl.
Issues: Not really, but when the vehicle headlight is ON and when i press brake the light is dimming a bit.

You have got the exact mileage, it may increase upto 40kmpl, I own a Suzuki Access, even it gives the same mileage of 35-38..
I saw this very late !!. Congrats on the new buy. Wishing you more miles and smiles with the new Activa.

Its been 5 months, now the Activa is done with 1672 kms.
Done with its 2nd service.
The 3rd one is due in next month.
Running fine, but after the 1st service in a few weeks had starting issues in cold morning.
Now after servicing its working fine.
1st Service costed: 255/-
2nd Service:752/-(Teflon coating, the SA pestered me for this).
There are 2 more coating free with this, they issued a beautiful certificate.
Don't know what makes them so intersted of this thing, once you accept then they hear your issues, else a lethargic way of accepting a concern.
Else this time the bill would have been 355/- as i missed 2nd free service on time, as i was busy with issues in Hawk.
So had to pay 100 Rs, for Good will Warranty, this happened as during previous service i was told no need to service till it reaches 2000 kms, as it was doing 1500 kms i thought to leave for service, which he was to tear the 3rd Service coupon.
Which i escalated the issue to Honda, as there were lapses on their part to inform me.
In the end, the service was carried and i had to pay 100.
3rd Service whether kms covered or not oil must be changed.
And Honda is strict on initial oil changes as they provide engine warranty.
So using Activa these days for all my commute.
But one thing its not comfortable for a single drive of 20-25 kms in one go.
Done with its 2nd service.

What i meant was if one commutes daily for about 25-30 kms, the ride is not comfortable.
This was my opinion.
Only good for city commutes for a short ride.
For that height it wouldn't be a problem, for 6 feet tall person.
There would be a back pain after riding with a pillion.

I did not get you. One side your are saying for 25-30km ride not comfortable and other side you said that it is good for short ride. How the 25-30km matter with comfort level.
Please explain as I am unable to understand. If my ride is only for 5 km meters in a internal speed breakers, path holes, bad roads, then whether this is good option or should I keep my bike as it is. As I am trying to sell my Suzuki Slingshot + bike as rear shocks are very stiff. Will it serve my purpose or not
