If you have the money go for the upgrade now itself as the new tyres can be exchanged for a good rate!!! if u frequently drive on the highways then i thinks its a good option to upgrade the tyres , not only do they provide superior grip but they also look cool!! The standard tyres of the SWIFT ZXI looks cool dont they??? am sure the bigger tyres will look cool on PUNTO also!!!

There is no need for upgrading the tires.They are very good as per reviews,
drive my zen and then your punto,you'll know how good the tires are.
License is not a problem dude,when you apply for the license ,the agent will get a receipt (paavti) take a xerox of it and you can keep it when driving.

O.T you didn't tell me about the PDI.

Hey Vroom!

Punto has got a nice set of wheels!

Dont try to upgrade the tyres now!

First drive the car for some time, feel the Understeer & Oversteer!

Then you can decide, your car is a great speed handler!

vroom, any plans for seat covers. The original seat is great, and Punto is embedded in it. I don't want to loose those cute logo. If any idea you have, please let me also know.

vroom, on your pdi, did you also check the make and month of manufacturing of tyres as well, if so which brand are they and what month making, do share.tyres i guess are good enough to give you good grips so no need to upgrade them right now.

vroom, I think Fiat has increased the Punto's price by approx. 10K, effective from 5 Nov. Just re-check with your dealer, that should not impact you.

You are right. I checked with the dealer the day I made the remaining payment after PDI. He specifically told me that it will not affect me and he had made the billing earlier to that to avoid this.
