@ Ilango ... Would have loved to drive till there, but I think my employers will ask me to keep driving, and not return, if I plan on taking such long breaks!!

WoW!! awesome pictures aditya. i just saw this thread, i liked the pics of turtles and parrots. kaziranga is famous for rhinos and i can see that you spotted many, are there any tigers also? how much time it took to cover whole forest on an elephant?

Tigers, I think there are some, but we did not get to see any.
And we had done a morning recce which was about 2hrs or so.
Followed that up with a jeep safari on a different route that took the same time.
