I feel your current system must be good.

What do you feel, lacks in it?

And my suggestion , remove the oval speakers from back , install a door speaker in rear(In provision provided) , i feel oval has cross over with the bass tube.

there is no provision provided in the rear door of the scorpio, hence the speaker is placed in the boot.

i suggest you dont fit your speakers on the doors, rear end doors, if you are fine with the place you have placed and last row isnt required the most of time, leave them there, as have seen few friends installed ovals on their rear door, and while shutting the door, its tends to get loose and make noise, also will be more of hump sound from that end, will require to paste some box, or fibre sheets to not to make any rattle from those doors after keeping speakers there.

hey guys, i am going in for the third upgrade for my scorpio (finally!). it should take place in a week or so. i am looking for a SPL setup. i need your suggestions. budget is 15k for the following-

i already have bought a JBL GT5-S644 amp which will replace the sony 4 ch amp, so this is not included in the budget.

1) i need to change the front Vtrek compos to something much better.
2) i have a JBL 1100W basstube, i plan to take out the subwoofer from the basstube & install it in a sealed or ported box. (i am tired of the bastube!)
3) if possible, change the rear sony co-axials to something better, though not necessary as it is not connected to the amp & barely audible!

so what will include in the budget is-
1) front compos- which one should i buy?
2) rear co-axials? only if it fits in my budget after all the installs.

please note that installation charges for the amp & charges for the custom built sub box will also be counted in 15k!

also, should i go for a sealed box or a ported box? i need a more audible bass with some thump in the cabin. the basstube right now is very audible but sometimes i feel it is very boomy & out of sync to the song, so much that in some songs i have to turn off the basstube!

i am ready to trade in my
1) sony 4 ch amp
2) vtrek compos (!!!)
3) the basstube box :-)
4) sony co-axials if i am replacing it!
