Our Thar brought us safely to Leh, Ladakh from Bangalore via Vijayapura, Aurangabad, Jaipur, Amritsar, Kartharpur Corridor, Jammu and Srinagar. Tomorrow, we will drive to Siachen via Khardungla.

My Thar took us from Bangalore to Chennai [13 Dec 2023] and back [26 Dec 2023] via Hosur, Krishnagiri, Vellore. Now, the odometer stands at 20 k +. It's time for the 20 k service.

My Thar visited Anant Cars, Pattanagere, Mysore Road, Bangalore, today for the 3rd [20 k km] service. I asked the SA [Mr Veeresh Kumar] to interchange the spare wheel with the front left one, which was repaired after a puncture with TPMS resetting. Apart from this, they have replaced the engine oil, fuel/oil/HVAC filters as specified by Mahindra. I got my Thar back in the evening after a thorough water wash. Anant Cars have done a good job.

Yesterday [21 Jan 2024], me and my Thar were busy doing Bangalore>Chennai>Bangalore [about 660 km] in 18.5 hours. Left Bangalore home at 3 am, breakfasted at Upashana near Kanchipuram [excellent food], attended a function at Selaiyur, refuled at an IOC COCO near Sriperumbudur, had dinner at Aaradhya Grand near Kolar [akki roti] and returned Bangalore home at 9:30 pm. Fuel efficiency shown was 11.5 kmpl for the entire trip.

Another drive to and fro Chennai in February, 2024.
10/02 : Bangalore to Chennai. Day drive. Enjoyed Mulbagal dosai at Mulbagal bypass. Visited temple at my village enroute.
20 & 21/02 : Chennai to Bangalore. Non-stop, home-to-home night drive.
Present odometer reading stands at 21,069 km.

Received A229 Pro 2 Channel front and rear dash cams a few hours ago. Ordered yesterday. Paid ₹ 32,999 directly to the company by UPI. They give ₹ 1,000 discount for UPI payment. Excellent customer support before, during and after sales. Also bought SanDisk 128 GB Max Endurance microSDHC card from amazon.in for ₹ 2,400. Will instal tomorrow after the receipt of the memory card.

My Thar has little storage space. So, bought 2 magnetic goggle holders, costing ₹ 764 for 2. They are perfect fit on Thar's sun visors and hold the goggles well. Now, they have released much-need valuable space inside the grab handle bag for storing other important things.
