@Madan,
I even booked a Brio EXMT for the same OTR .I got accessories like Reverse parking sensor,Mats,Parcel tray and Under chassis 3M coating for free and i am planning to get
Autocop keyless entry(From honda)
Seat covers(Not sure if i should go for honda)
Accessory 12V (Need to check with honda)

Anyone any suggestions?

Madan what accessories you got for free?
wow, thats a quite nice deal,
its a shame that i got nothing free apart from car cover,

Is parking sensor, parcel and 3m coating totally free? Which dealer in bang gave u this?

I am an owner for Brio VMT- from Magnum.covered 3k kms so far.

What free accessories did he promised, also tell him to give all the said accessories in writing, those fools so anything to sell a car.

Reverse sensor? I don't think its really necessary for a low GC hatch to have one, you park in a tight space at home?

Ask the quotation for the Autocop, should come below 4k or max 4,5k more than that is a waste of money, fix it from outside accessories shop.

Go for the one like Doc_Praveen did, check the price before you do that.

It is necessary to get original one, costs somewhere around 500 bucks.

One suggestion: Please post your further queries in this this section, because we are literally hacking an ownership review here.
Which dealer in bang gave u this?
Magnum, Dakshen or Whitefield honda?
White field honda. Actually 4 of my colleagues got honda City from the same dealer and i went through my colleagues referral there[:)]

Congrats for your Car!

Just a query, how to distinguish an EMT and EXMT variant from the Back logo? Is it written anywhere in the back side of car like 'Ex' or something. Sorry for my less awareness, but I feel dealer can themself convert an EMT into EXMT by adding extra features. What is your say on that?
Hi Madan,
EXMT cannot be distinguished from EMT from outside. But yes when you have the Single din Music system of EXMT, you will never ever repent taking EXMT over EMT with the quality and warrenty intact.

Congracts on your Brio! Did you get your car from select city walk?
NO dear I have taken it from Automax Honda, Mayapuri. Between what made you feel I got it from select city walk.

Dear Sub263,

As mentioned in my first review page, I got a deal of 4.40 lk which included the accessories, and the 4yrs extended warrenty but excluded ORA, 3M coating. It may be possible that Bangalore has a higher onroad price but 50 k is a lot. Please bargain further if possible.

1. About autocop : I got a Minda security from outside 2k ,Honda said 4k.
EXMT has inbuilt single doorlock.

2. I bargained for the Honda brio original seat cover PU quality which has the most superb looks and finishing. Please go through the pics.

3. 12 V accessory socket is not available with Honda with any of the dealers in Delhi. But they said it will be available in the current year.

Its really great to sea some more EXMT fans developing in the new year. With the budget its the best possible car 1 can have. I am totally enjoying the drive with the Brio and believe me EXMT is a better buy than EMT( Can say this because my friend who got EMT had to shell the same amount to get the Music system ) and yet had a tension of warrenty and just matching music system.Though I had a different reason of getting an inbuilt MS.(Original review)

Accessories that I got fitted from outside:
1. Vanity mirror -100/-
2. Minda Keyless entry- 2000/-
3. Mudflap- 200/-
4. Extra mat ( Thick plastic variety 4 piece)- 450/-

Still waiting for the wheel cap: A Tyre shop has promised me to get me an original one as it keeps coming to them when 1 changes to alloy wheels. EXMT has 14" wheel cap. Non Honda wheel caps are available though for 600/- in outside market.

Doctor Saab,

Congrats on your Brio and Brio is excellent for its Engine and Dynamics. And,Honda reliability is just excellent than another manufacturers.
[:D] Thanks Music_Swift: The car is awesome.Honda reliability : Have no experiences with this one though so fingers crossed. Though I do not get much time to travel in the car, the drive is smooth and classy. At least, I got to say that its welcome change from Wagon-R that I 'almost' purchased.
PS every 3rd car in Delhi's road is Wagon -R-says much about the reliability of the car.

Hi Doc,

Congrats on ur purchase, but i have some 2 basick queries.
What really is the vanity mirror? Is it the IVRM or something?

Pics would be helpful.

Also, can u describe what exactly u mean by extra mats?
Is it rubber mats on top of floor carpet?

Hi Praveen,

Thanks for your comments! Recently, I saw one EXMT in showroom with 'Ex' near BRIO logo on the back. That could be pasted by dealer also, I forgot to ask them...Anyway, are you planning to get your wheel base painted as black before going for wheel caps?

Also, let me know if installation of keyless entry involves any tampering with Electric unit and why people have mentioned about some issues with power windows after its installation? Is it true? If so, how to overcome that?

Accessories include:

RPS, Body cover, mats, Parcel tray, Front and rear corner protectors (no side protectors).
Sales person was against installing Remote lock (mentioning some issues with power windows). Probably Naveen can throw some light on to this as he got it installed.

BTW which color have you booked?

Hi Madan,

Installing keyless entry should be done in your full presence. I don't know whether any electrical unit is tampered but its a process of "operating the vehicle without much indication". I suggest you to get it in Honda. (though i did nit get it in honda and repent it now). Saving 2k is not worth what your "brand new Brio has to go through'

About painting the wheel base, I dont have any such plans as of now.

i think the VMT already comes with Vanity mirror as default.

But i somehow like your vanity mirror, looks kinda cute [;)]

Hey darkidd,
Thanks for the comment. Seems I got what you mean[lol]

I would like to clarify one thing: My Brio is 300 km old but the gear at time I feel is very notchy specially shifting between 2nd and 3rd. At times it does'nt even get into gear and I end up with a noise from the gear box.Did you or have you felt the same?

yes the gear shift is pretty horrible, i still have the notchy issue slotting from 2nd to 3rd gear.
i have done my 1 st service and had asked them to do CLUTCH BLEEDING.
still i have issue with

1.2nd gear to 3rd gear shift ( i sometime feel there is no pikcup)
2. Also putting to reverse, is a lil hard.

Ask H! to do clutch bleeding on ur 1service, u can give it at 1000kms/1 month.
Gear shift will definitely improve after 5k KMS/2nd service.
but major issue i have is with suspension

on bad roads, the ride is very poor and bumpy, i have tried all kinds of trye pressure but still have issue

Have other Brio owners also felt the same about the gear or is it specific to some of the cars. Though Brio is a has a powerful engine of 1.2 l, I feel starting in the first gear is a bit less power packed.
Will have to go for the clutch bleeding as you suggested ( never heard of it), what do they do here?
About suspension I would say real thanks to roads in Delhi as I haven't come across some really bad road and will face them less too.
Whats the Tyre pressure you normally keep and the FE that you are presently getting?
