Hey congrats Ilango!! So is SLXi a top end model of Lancer?? Can you share the the specifications and features of the Lancer?? I don know much about this car!!

But honestly i din like even the color of the car!! Can you change it?? This color wont look good for modifications also! Then change the Alloys and then later do all the modifications which you have planned!

But great number you have got there! Looking fancy!!

And next time Verna vs Lancer head-on!![evil]

The alloys are looking nice IMO, Just change the paint to some other color (like Black?) and remove those overdone faux chrome work, Hey I noticed that tread of your car's tires is almost invisible, Any plans to replace them?

Congrats Illango. Looks like your Alloys are missing the centre cap. Try and get hold of these. Or else get some better alloys. Now buy a Mivec engine and plonk it in.
Yeah no cap in any of the alloys.
Mivec , too costly , already a mivec was done at the coimbatore (franchiser)

Yeah as said no plan to change the alloy now.
chrome work in mirror is removed.
i am looking into mechanical works now. so exterior will be done later.
There was a mild shake in the wheels in right. Needs bearing change i think.

congratulations buddy! time to change your avatar!please do remove the pathetic chrome fittings, this is not a SUV! first thing is to add better alloys.
honestly, i dint like the colour.
thanks raj ,
yeah time to change , but let me get a best shot of it.
till then , the marina which served me well , so well that only i can feel it. so in its remembrance let this continue for some more time

Ilango, you definitely need change of your alloys when you make a demo car out of your Lancer.
Go for some cheaper second hand alloys, and paint them in contrast with the body color of your choice.A small hint would be that you get a lot of exchanged and second hand alloys in Coimbatore,as my friend who lives near Coimbatore said that most of his friends buy a second hand car, modify it and paint the alloys contrast to the body color.

You should definitely add 5 Spoke 17 inchers to this babe!!

It will increase the killer looks..

I think black will be the best color for any cars to mod & you should start with that!!

now note mine. but before that congrats on your purchase. this car AFAIK is very mod friendly and would be a rockstar when moded. try to put in your best for the modification of this one(i am sure you will).
now the compulsory changes you'll have to do:
1.change the paint colour(i prefer black/white)
2.change the tyres(go for lower profile michellin/bridgestone)
3.alloys(your choice. you know better than me. just see the audi pic in the banner. get alloys of that kind)
4.ICE you'll do it for sure as its a show off car
5.try to get clear lens type headlamps and a HID kit

please post some interior pics and get a package of some more comments absolutely free.
ENJOY LANCING AROUND!!!!
